Dad, Thank you for loving and respecting Mom. Thank you for loving your children; for being a rock solid and devoted dad and grandfather. Thank you for always being there and supporting us. Thank you for having an even temper and common sense when dealing with the challenges that children, young and old, bring into your life. And thank you for being my dad! Happy 80th Birthday! Love, Lynn

Happy Birthday Dad, Words can never express how proud I am to be your daughter. You taught us what it is to live a life full of love, laughter, kindness, generosity and gratitude. You have always encouraged us with your gentle guidance. With mom, you showed us what it is to be part of a loving partnership .Thank you for all these things and so much more. Have a wonderful birthday and many more to come. Love, Christy

Dad, I just want to start with a big "THANK YOU". I am not sure how I got so lucky to have such great parents. I have to say "parents", because mom is such a huge part of you. I thank you for your patience, kindness and love. I am not sure how you had the patience to let me do anything I really wanted, no matter what it cost you and mom. You were always willing to let me try. I know I pushed a few buttons in my time and am really sorry for that. I have come to realize that it is not always so easy to do everything you did for me. I wish I could be half the parent that you are. You were always willing to listen and help in any way you possibly could. I am always telling people how lucky I was growing up in the family that I did. A lot of them do not believe me when I tell them how wonderful my childhood was. Just another thank you for teaching me about kindness, patience and love. Happy Birthday. Love you so much! May Kay

Dad, Happy Birthday!! Thank you for all the love and support through the years. Dad, you have always been a great role model and father. Thank you for helping me get my life back on track. I have always looked up to you with love and respect. Thank you for being a great dad. Love always, Lori

Our Dad is now 80, what an impressive feat One that in time we all hope to beat. It began on an farm in the plains of Dakota At 5'7" he grew up barely taller than Yoda. Don't laugh to hard Lori, now be a good host You better not laugh since your shorter than most. At eighteen years old he left the old farm The world would soon know the famous Schroeder boy charm. Generations of Schroeder boys have benefited from that charm Unfortunately all Kevin inherited was Dad's sweaty underarms. Dad soon joined the Air Force: he was off to see the world A whole new adventure was about to unfurl. He landed in Spokane, met a cute little nurse With determination and work, her love he coerced. He knew it was right and soon they were married And in no time at all there was a baby Mom carried. Leslie was born, looked a little funny at first We better try again: the next can't be any worse. But Kevin was born, so agin they must try So along came babe Joe; finally.... a cute little guy. Now we've got it down pat, they said with delight Lets try for some more, the future looks bright. So then followed Lori, Mary Kay , Christy and Lynn I 'm afraid we are all done, no more room at the Inn. Now you see Lori stopped growing at seven or eight But in athletics we learned she would soon dominate. | Mary Kay was so happy, liked to party a bit Spent a few weekend nights a little bit lit. Christy was born early, so petite and so small But soon broke the bank when she discovered the Mall. Lynn was so shy the only blond of all us all Now...What did the Milkman look like, I can't quite recall. Somewhere along the way came a boy we call Bill Since he joined our house there's been many a thrill. He fixes almost any thing from the car to the disposal And we could count on the fact that each of the girls would receive at least one marriage proposal. We grew up happy, spent time at Deer Lake Lots of good memories and many many birthday cakes. We give thanks for our Dad, whom we all truly love It's amazing but this family truly fits like a glove. In between all these kids your career it did blossom As a lawyer and judge, all said you were awesome. So tonigh we celebrate the day of your birth what an accomplishment..think of it...80 years on earth. Words alone cannot express how grateful we are Not a song on guitar or a great big cigar. No words will not do so lets make a deal Live eighty more years full of love and good cheer. Let us all raise our glasses and offer a toast cause you are so dear and we love you the most! Happy Birthday Dad Love always, Joe | Richard Schroeder's 80th Birthday

Happy 80th Birthday Dad, You have been a great example to me on how to live life. You are a fair and honest person and have great values. I have learned from you that family, God and being a good person are very important in our life. Thank you for always being there for us. Happy Birthday. Love, Kevin

Dad. You and Mom are the role models Gary and I strive to live our lives after. You have always been so generous with your time. Your volunteerism at our schools, church or with your clients, like the "Turkey Man" made such an impression on me. I have tried to follow your example in all aspects of my life. Your support all these years means so much. When I wasn't very good at sports, you were there supporting me just as you did my siblings who were athlectic.. I have always felt loved Thank you for all the love, patience and kindness. I am very blessed to have you as my Dad, Gary's father-in-law , my children's grandfather and my grandchildren's great grandfather. God Bless Always, Love Leslie

When I think of "Sir" Richard, I think Honor, Integrity, High Morals, Family, Generous, Humorous, Kind.... and the list goes on. I had no idea when Joe and I became friends that the friendship would include the entire family. I consider myself very blessed to have two amazing "dad" role models growing up; my own great Dad and "Sir". The interesting thing being that my Dad as a laborer and Sir as a professional, they both shared so many characteristics and beliefs. I thank you for including me in so many wonderful experiences, lake trips (install and removal of docks), dinners, celebrations and the joy of being part of a large family. I also need to thank you for all the kindness and friendhip you have shown my Mother. I have had Joe and Nat tell me that I have been a good role model to their children and I have to credit my two Dads for that, because I have always thought to myself, "What would they have done in the same situation?" So with that, here's to happy memories, good times and a FAST "Happy Birthday" wish to you, Sir. Love, Bill | Our late addition to the family Bill Ryan
