S: Frank and Eva Cox - What a Wonderful Life

BC: The End

FC: For your love, your devotion, and your never ending support....We all love you. | A Lifetime of Memories

1: The Gift With photographs strewn across the table at home, I studied the faces, moments planted in time, and I look upward to pray: "Thank you God, for those faces so dear. You Bless us all with this family we share. A family build of love, of loyalty and devotion; A family of laughter, or giving and sharing; A family sustained by the knowledge that we are never Alone in a world where people can often feel lost." I studied those pictures some more as I prayed. Of grandparents, parents, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and we all became one. One family united through life and beyond: These are the faces that give us a bond. I studied those pictures and saw time passing by, Of the parents who started this family of mine. Once youthful and eager, with their lives full of dreams and hopes, I noted the progression of their lives unfold. Wrinkles more prominent, hair graying thin, The roar of the Lion, coming to soon of an end. I studied those pictures and remembered the times, Of the love of those parents, that for us all, will continue to chime. Of the work and sacrifices they made through the years, It is certainly no wonder that we hold them so dear. I studied those beautiful faces we all adore; Building this family of theirs through the years; Providing for them all, always putting their children first, Providing a foundation build on love, history, strength, wisdom, laughter and tears. I studied those pictures and saw the fruits they bore, Their belief in their children, the support of their dreams, A nudge out the door as each found their own wings. Now passed on to the grandchildren of those parents of mine, The same love and support which was once only ours, Now shared with each beautiful face before me that day; The grandchildren, now with their own dreams and futures to seek: I studied those pictures once more and I smiled, And I realized the Gifts of those parents of mine. I look to the heavens and give Thanks once more: It is the gift of FAMILY passed down to our own. | For Eva & Frank By Tracey Cox

56: There is so much I could say to honor you Eva, that it is hard to begin. But short and sweet, you are a person that we can all feel blessed if we are even half as good a person as you are. You truly are one of the sweetest person's I have had the good fortune to know, let alone to call my "mother". If I could have hand picked a grandmother for my children, it would have been you. You bring smiles to all that meet you. I will always remember and cherish our first conversation. After Dave and I told you on the phone that we were engaged to be married, and you had never even heard my name up to that point, you told me then, that if your son loved me, then you already loved me too. I have loved you since and your total acceptance of those that come into your life is something I strive for as well in my own life. Thank you for giving me this truly amazing son that you raised to be not just the best husband ever, but the best father as well. I LOVE YOU EVA, Tracey

57: Mom, you are my mother-in-law, but first you are my friend! I love to visit with you on the phone often and I learn so much from you. You are loving, supportive and know so much about life and people! I love hearing the stories about work and life and I appreciate all of your efforts to drive over to come and visit us! We love your visits! Love, Carol | Mom, what can I say – I know I’m the ‘baby’ of the family – but you have always treated me like your number one son!!! You get in my ‘business’ but I really don’t mind cause you have a knack for helping me see things from another perspective! Thanks for all you do for me and my family – I love you mom! Love, Don

58: A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving You are an Angel on earth to all of us and please know you are so very loved! God Bless ya Mom! Kevin and Leslie | Kevin and Leslie

59: Eva... You are the best mother-in-law anyone could have. You're funny, loving and caring. Love You, Janet

62: Garrett and Martha Bootsma - Nephew to Eva and Frank

70: Kristin Louise Cox Born: March 10. 1985

73: Grams, First off I want to start off by saying I love you. You have always been such an inspiration to us with your strong will, enormous heart, wonderful sense of humor and ability to bounce back up when something knocks you down (we saw that very literally this summer at my graduation!). We are all better people because we have had you in our lives. Some of my favorite memories of visiting California have always been those of homemade ice cream, puzzles, nintendo, candy, climbing the tree in the front yard and trips to Judy's with the family. I am so thankful that I got to add on a few extra memories this year coming to visit hand hope to have many more in the future. I love you so very much and wish you a happy holiday season:) Love and kisses, Kristin

77: Dear Grams, Words can't describe how much you mean to me. You have the most loving and caring heart I have ever known and have inspired me to be like you in so many ways. I mean the way you are still out shaking your booty is the most awesome thing! One of my favorite things about you is the fact we have always been able to talk to you about anything and you never judge or say something is wrong, but you just give us your straight up opinion, whether it is what we want to hear or not. I remember many wonderful times we have all spent with you and the cousins. I really appreciate all of the wisdom and advice you have given us and it really has made us into the women and men we are today, so I want to say "Thank you". I love you with all of my heart and hope you have an amazing holiday. Pleaseeee come and visit more and I promise we will come visit you more often as well. Love you, Katie

80: Meet Kyle Joshua Cox Born: Sept. 26, 1987

81: Dear Grandma, You know I have so many fond memories with you, but maybe my favorite is from when I was younger. All of the grandkids and you were running around playing basketball on that old hoop with the rusty chains. Your were making more baskets than any of us were. Dad and Ron were in the background trimming bushes and Grandpa on the sidewalk killing rolly pollies and making fun of us. So much laughter and happiness, and all I an say is "Thank You and I love You for always being there with a smile, never missing a Happy Birthday or a Merry Christmas. Love You Grandma, Merry Christmas....Kyle

87: Dear Grams, I don't think we tell you enough how wonderful it is to call you our grandmother. You have always been and will continue to be one of the most amazing people I will ever know. Whether it is your contagious laughter or your warm heart, you know how to put a smile on my face every time you are around. Licorice and hard candy will forever remind me of California, which I love by the way. Most importantly though, I will never forget the love and support that you all continue to give us even being on separate coasts. Lastly, I can't "Thank You" enough for raising four wonderful guys! I have three amazing uncles and one pretty unbelievable DAD. As Always, CONTINUE TO DANCE Grams, Love You, Kelly

89: Dear Grandma, I love all my memories with you. You made everything seem so special, and some of my favorite memories are of spending the night at your house and going to Judy's Cafe in the morning. Oh, and let's not forget how you boogied to our jams and showed off your dance moves! But the days I cherish the most are those days that you would ask me if I liked a specific type of jewelery and you would go into your jewelery box and give me a bracelet or a necklace. I loved that they were so special and that you shared them with me. Even though I've lived states away since I was 16, I've always received a card and your love for me on every single special occasion. I hope you know how much you mean to mean and I love our girl time. You are an amazing and caring person and I am so lucky to have you as my Grandma. Love you bunches, Brianna

94: Grandma, Grandma, Grandma, There is a lot i could say about you.....But one thing that I remember is that when we were in the airport, we were trying to look for you and since you are little, all we could hear was your laugh AND that is how we could find you.....Your laugh is contagious and that is what I love most about you. Also I love your caring and living and love and just wanted to say I Love You Grandma. Tina

97: Grandma, There is one thing that means everything to me and that is you. Your are a wonderful Grandma. I love how we spend Christmas at your house and you always misplace a gift and later down the road you seem to find the gift. Well I just got to say I LOVE YOU so much Grandma Cox. Tim

98: Grandma, there is one thing that means everything to me and that is you. You are a wonderful Grandma. I love how we spend Christmas at your house and you always misplace a gift and later down the road you seem to find the gift. Well, I just got to say that I Love You so Much Grandma. Tim

102: I love you Grandma! I like that you are ‘old’ but still like to have fun like taking me and my friend to an ‘R’ rated movie called ‘Kickass’! I will never forget that you are never too old to make a mistake!!! My best memory of Grandpa Frank is when he used to ‘flip a coin’ in his fingers! I thought that was so cool! I have some great pictures of Grandpa Frank as a soldier and young man. He is the best! Love, Gregory
