BC: All my love, Red

Chill air and wintry winds! My ear has grown familiar with your song; I hear it in the opening year, I listen, and it cheers me long. ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Each time we think of the Little Cabin in the Big Woods, we would all agree that it is a little piece of heaven here on earth, and we are so thankful for it. Dad, this spot's peacefulness is only enhanced when looking into your eyes and seeing the calm that it brings you. Fittingly, not only are we able to worship in nature here, but I know that you have found a "home" with the people, now family, at Gates Chapel.
 Spring has come!
"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands" Isaiah 55:10-12
Don't you want to try the wild mushroom, Dad?
 The final turn to paradise
by planting raspberry bushes | Spring symbolizes the grace of new beginnings. With this thought, we celebrated a peaceful weekend... | peaceful, really?
"Give me the splendid silent sun with all his beams full-dazzling." ~Walt Whitman
The Little Cabin in the Big Woods offers us a chance to rest and seek renewal from normal life. It truly is a diamond in the rough and a blessing to have. In just over a year, we have made so many fun memories together here! One of my favorite things to do at the cabin is to see the joy in your eyes as you take in the wonders of this place.
"I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)" ~E.E. Cummings
 Summertime in
 the mountains
 A little work...
 ...and a little play
 Autumn Splendor
Alone with touch of heaven In nature's life we share A moment of God's blessing So beautifully aware Grass so tall with splendor Sky so blue and clear Within the heart we nurture This beauty we revere Place we fill with laughter Love we share with peace A lifetime spent with moments Are treasures that we keep Hear the silent whispers In breezes that will flow Keep the fire's burning For love that has life's glow. ~Francine Pucillo
