27: Artist Statement | During my first photography class my main goal was to improve the way I took photos, and to almost always take clear photos that are not under or over exposed. I found that to do this was really tricky, and depended how the weather was and how you changed your camera settings based on the weather. This made you have to think about all the different properties of the camera and figure out how to capture the best photo. Throughout this photography class I used a DSLR camera to take all of my photos. This allowed me to capture great photos because I could easily change the settings. I also used a tripod for when I could not hand hold the camera, or when the shutter speed was really long. Through this class I learned a lot about how to take a good photo. Also, how to use Photoshop and Camera Raw to edit and change a photograph to the way you think it looks best. I learned to adapt to different types of weather so that you can still get a good photo. This changed the way I take photos, and made them better.
