FC: English 106 Kristen Patton

Phenomenal Woman I liked this poem alot. It shows you that you dont have to look like a supermodel. Even without being a supermodel people will still notice you and not your looks. When you try to explain to them what makes you so noticeable, they do not believe you. he poem just made me feel like no matter who you are, you can get noticed.

Still I Rise The sun and the moon will always rise and set no matter when anyone says. Just like in real life people will always be here and do what they do as long as the world keeps spinning.

The Lady Of Shalott It seems like the place she lives is so magical and perfect. But maybe too perfect to be true. You come to find out that it is too good to be true considering the lady is under a curse.

Marrying The Hangman Im not sure how i feel aobut this poem because it seems more like a story than a poem.I did not agree with the fact that she was hanged because she wished to be more beautful. She was a slave but she still should be allowed to have those ideas.

How Do I Love Thee? How do i love thee? Let me count the ways. A line that so many people know but may bot know the whole sonnet. The sonnet has very powerful meaning to anyone in any sort of love situation.

 She Walks In Beauty

 The Raven

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner This poem was way to long for me. Did not really like it all that much either.

To my Dear and Loving Husband She loves her husband alot.

If You Forget Me She loves him so much, that she is willing to set him free if he begins to stop loving her back.

Sonnet 116 Shakespeare is saying that love cannot be compared to anything and that it can withstand anything.

Song of Myself This poem was really long. But i think it was about someone trying to retain individuality while trying to merge in with society.

The Rape of the Lock This poem was way too long. I did not like it at all.
