1: Dedicated to all the people who didn't have enough food back in the Medieval Times.

2: Medieval Menu | For Breakfast(6-7a.m.)- poultry and eggs | For Dinner(12-2 p.m.)-dried peas and beans | For Supper(6-7p.m.)- peacock or crane served with onions, garlic, and herbs from the garden | For dessert(after Supper)- pudding or pie

3: Medieval Feasts | Fruits, meats, etc. | Pie was served for dessert.

4: Different Classes, Different Foods... | The king, lords, and knights ate more exotic foods that lower classes couldn't eat, such as fish on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, at feasts birds were served, and they used olive oil instead or butter. | Meanwhile peasants and serfs ate more simple foods like bread, cheese, porridge, and soups.

5: Serfs ate simple foods like bread. | Serfs also had to eat cheese, that usually wasn't very good because they didn't have a good place to store it. | Sometimes at feasts, they served cooked peacock, and made it look like it was still alive.

6: How People in the Medieval Times Stored Food | Winter was hard, food and animals had been carefully stored to last until the next year's crops were ready. | What People used to eat food in the Medieval Times | People used usually used spoons and knives to eat food.

7: Royals Eating | Foods were served in the castle hall. Sheep were the main meat served at the table. Poultry and eggs were mostly eaten. Wild birds and meat was also eaten with onions, garlic, and herbs from the castle garden. The most common vegetables were dried peas and beans. At feasts peacocks or crane were served.

8: Famine-a severe food shortage; a period of extreme scarcity of food | Sometimes kings and lords even ran out of food, so they had to kill their own horses or farm animals for food. | Since Europe was growing a larger population, and colder temperatures, a lot of people died of starvation, which is know as The Great Famine.

9: Kings, lords, knights, sometimes had to eat their own farm animals because of suffering a famine. | During famines, even kings and lords couldn't eat as much food.
