1: Symptoms: Excessive bleeding from mouth cutting, tooth loss,and random nose bleeds lead to internal bleeding.

2: Symptoms: Bleeding in the joints. Such as the knees, elbows, and other various joints.

3: Transmission: When partners mate if the male is the hemophiliac and the female is normal then all sons are fine and the hemophilia gene is carried to the daughters.

4: Transmission: When partners mate and the female is a hemophiliac and the male is normal half of the sons and daughters are affected and half are normal.

5: Life Expectancy: In the past 11 years life expectancy has increased. In the 1960's patients severely effected didn't live to 50 to 60 years that occurred in the 1980's.

6: Life Expectancy: Overall mortality rate for patients is twice that of a healthy male or female.

7: Treatment: Depends on how severe the case is

8: Treatment: Primarily treated by replacing the abnormal clotting to prevent severe blood loss.

9: Statistics: Hemophilia occurs 1 out of 10,000 men and women in the U.S.

10: Gene and Chromosomes numbers: Women have 2 X chromosomes and men have one X and Y chromosome.
