12: Indian cities today are very different from ancient times, except in their religious beliefs and their traditions which remain the same. | The Indian government now is run by a president instead of a kings like it was in ancient India. | Religion in India has stayed pretty much the same since ancient times after the Vedas. They are still mostly Hindu and follow the same beliefs.

13: Public works have been similar in ancient and modern times, both have dams, and bridges due to the major rivers that run through India. | Architecture in ancient India was different than now. They had most of their architecture as symbols of kings or gods, and society was based on religion. Now they have buildings like the Taj Mahal that were built for religious purposes, but are now popular tourist attractions. | Sanscript is a form of writing that was used both in ancient times and is still used in modern times, even though many people in India speak English, this is still the primary form of writing.

14: The caste system has been the only class system of India since ancient times. If you are in a class then you have to do the jobs that the class is allowed to do, and you cannot marry out of class | In ancient India, jobs were given by whatever class you were in and you could not get out of it. Now jobs are not always given by class, but also by skill.
