1: The Industrial Age is a time where many inventions were made, jobs were changed, and ways of life were changed.
2: The Spinning Jenny is an invention that was used to spin cotton. | New Inventions | The Spinning Mule is a Spinning Jenny that is mule powered.
3: The Power Loom was made in the 1780s. It was powered by water, horse, or steam. It helped with material production. | In 1793 the Cotton Gin was created. It was made to clean cotton faster, while separating cotton and seeds.
4: The Steam Engine made it so factories could operate not only on the water front. It was powered by coal and produced steam. This caused pollution.
5: The Life of the People
6: Life before the Industrial Age was lived upon the farm. Families lived close together and had individual work to uphold.
7: When the Industrial Age came, people began to work in the coal mines and factories. This includes men, women, and children.

9: Child labor is something that was also relevant because of the need for work.
10: IRON | Natural resources drove the industry. These resources were: | COAL | WATER
11: There was a huge demand for wool, which came from sheep. This demand caused the need for more jobs, such as cleaners, dyers, and weavers.
