1: Culture: Common beliefs, values and manners of a society. | The American culture consists of sports and pie.
2: Rituals: Religious procedure or other rite. | The ritual of the Native Americans included a lot of dancing.
3: Belief: something believed, opinion. | A common belief is God.
4: Value: Something with worth or importance. | An American value is money.
5: Ethnocentrism: The belief that your ethnicity is better than all others. | The man was very ethnocentric and could not see the good in others.
6: History: Knowledge of past events. | The two World Wars are a part of history.
7: Geography: Study of the earth's surface. | Mountains, oceans, and rivers are a part of earth's geography.
8: Economics: Production, distribution, and consumption of a good or service. | Many people do not worry about economics until they reach the work force.
9: Government: Political control over a society. | A country's government is very important to keep the country running smoothly.
10: Cultural Anthropology: origin, history, and development of a culture. | A cultural anthropologist will study another culture to learn more.
11: Multiculturalism: Many cultures existing together. | Discrimination does not often occur in multicultural situations.
12: Stereotype: To falsely characterize a group of people. | The stereotype about blonde girls is not true.
13: Globalism: considering the whole world before a small nation when making a decision. | Globalism effects countries of all different sizes.
