1: Jennie Finch is one of the most famous softball players if not thee famous softball player. She use to play for the National team for the USA as a pitcher and first base men, but she retired in 2009. first base and pitcher. Finch has made the whole sport of softball a lot more popular since she has hit the scene. Hopefully it stays that way.

2: Jennie Finch was born on September 3, 1980 in La Mirada, California. She began playing softball when she was 5. And when she was 8, she started pitching. Her father was her first ever pitching coach.

3: Finch's softball career started when she went to La Mirada High School. While she was there, she received a letter for softball every year since she was a freshman. She was an All-CIF Div. 11 choice in softball and an All-Suburban League selection in her sophomore year. That is a great honor.

4: Jennie went to University of Arizona also known as ASU. During her time at ASU, she was a three-time All-American pitcher and first-baseman among many other awards. Her number, 27, was retired on May 9, 2003 at the University of Arizona. During her college career, she had a total of 109 victories. As a pitcher, Finch struck out a total of 1,028 batters.

5: Finch married Minnesota Twins pitcher Casey Daigle on January 15, 2005, at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. They welcomed a son, Ace, on May 4, 2006. She is expecting another boy. Finch currently works for ESPN. She pitches for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch Softball League.
