1: The Civil War | The United States Civil War was the bloodiest war in American History.The War began because the North And the South were having a conflict about slavery. The North became the Union and the South became the Confederacy. The first shot was from a battleship named the Merrimac. Eventually the Union won that Battle.

2: The Battle of Fredrickburg | The Battle of fredrickburg was fought in fredrickburg ,Virginia. the war stated on December 13, 1862. On November 14 Burnside, now in command of the army of the Potomac, sent a corps to occupy the vicinity in foulmouth near frederickburg. Lee reacted by entrenching his army to the heights behind the town, On December 11, Union engineers laid five pontoon bridges across the Rappahannock under fire.

3: On December 15, Burnside called off the offensive and recrossed the river, ending the campaign. Burnside initiated a new offensive on January 1863 which quickly bogged down in the winter mud. The abortive "Mud March" and other failures led to the Burnside Replacement by Maj. Gen . Joseph Hooker in January 1863.

4: The Battle of Fredericksburg | The Confederates won the battle.17,929 casualties of which 13,353 where Union Soldiers. The generals of the confederates was General Robert E.Lee and for the Union the General was Major General Ambrose E. Burnside.

5: The Battle of Frederickburg | Union 12,653 (1,284 killed 9,600 wounded 1,769 captured/missing) | Confederates 5,377 (608 killed 4,116 wounded (653 captured/missing)
