Language arts Poetry - Page Text Content

FC: Amanda Valdes

Language Arts As I rush to Language Arts I can’t wait to greet all the verbs and the nouns To wind the words and create a piece of written art To get sucked into the stories and adventures beyond this world Here is a place where your mind is challenged Challenge to think out of the box To create something that is unique and your own Here in this class I greet grammar with a smile Ready to learn and read things that will teach me a great lesson A put my pen down And ink sinks down to the page Writing words, words that create sentences Sentences that create a memory.

 Self Respect

Sometimes I speak my mind, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I’ll give u a smile, sometimes I won’t. Depending on the day, I might even give you a warm hug. It really just depends on how things come my way. I’m not (the average) teenage girl. And I ain’t gonna cry in sad movies. But I learned how to work my way through life Because I am very stubborn and I like to persevere I’m not ever going to stop trying and helping people along the way My worth is not determined by where I come from but where I’m going. No matter what happens and what problems come my way, I will always be me sitting here with a peaceful.

 Mother's Kitcken

She walks with a loving grace like no other, Only to find herself struck with disgust, There it was upside down dead, could it be another? With her greatest green weapon she swiped spreading all the dust, Swiftly the Smoke spread in the kitchen and clouded eyes, The oven a great creature with steaming with anger, Staring in awe and fear she realized this was not a good surprise, Now how was she going 2 satisfy her and the ovens hunger, She acted swiftly watching as the grabbing fire slowly dies.

 G | Gsmst

I stood before a building so great fear took over I walked wandering the halls scared but proud, Making sure not to meet the eyes of any of my peers, Unknowing of what lay ahead before me, I look back to these memories with a laugh, Here at Gsmst I made my second home, Here at Gsmst I’ve worked my head searching for answers Here at Gsmst I stand proud to be in a place like no other, A place where sleepless nights are normal, Where you rush to class with heavy bags dragging you down, Yet you never want to leave such a challenging place, The challenging place called GSMST.

 The lonely Dream

Thrown into a world like no other I stand alone Thrown to a place where things are upside down And when I least expect things turn on me Here I stand in the middle of chaos A lonely wanderer with dust as my company I walk I Run I Sprint Knowing that I will not get anywhere As I go to cry Knowing there will be no one to hear That I stand alone to care for myself Suddenly it all crashes down And my eyes open I sigh with relief to find it was only a dream.
