3: Part 1: The Life Cycle of a Chicken
5: Chickens start there lives inside an egg as an embryo. The chick will spend 21 days in here before they are ready to come out. The mother hen sits on her eggs to keep them nice and warm.
6: Chicks have soft down feathers. They will grow more feathers in about four weeks.
7: They can walk right after they are born! | They like to eat seeds, bugs, and worms... ew!
8: Chicks are fully grown into chickens in six months | Female chicks grow into hens.
9: And male chicks grow into roosters.
11: Part 2: The Life Cycle of a Frog
12: All frogs start off as eggs.
13: These eggs will hatch into tadpoles anywhere between six and twenty-one days.
14: A tadpole will hatch out of each one of the eggs as long as nothing happens to the egg.
15: Four to seven days after the tadpole has hatched they will begin to swim around. | After four weeks skin begins to grow over their gills.
16: After six weeks the tadpole begins to sprout back legs.
17: After nine weeks the tadpoles begin to look like tiny frogs, or froglets.
19: Between twelve and sixteen weeks the cycle is complete. These frogs now use lungs to breathe. They will start the cycle again.
