1: Samuel L. Clemens, or now know as Mark Twain was born of November 30th 1835 in Florida, Missouri, and later moved to Hannibal, Missouri in 1839. His family moved to a house known as his Boyhood Home in 1846, but had to move out in 1847 because of poverty; later Samuels father died on March 14th 1847 and the Clemens moved back to the Boyhood Home. | Mark Twain at a young age | Mark Twain’s home

2: Samuel Clemens parents wereJohn Marshall Clemens and Jane Lampton Clemens; his siblings were Orion, Pamela, Pleasant, Margaret Benjamin, and Henry. He was married to Olivia Langdon Clemens, and had four children named Langdon, Suzy, Jean, and Clara, and one son- in- law named Ossip Gabrilowitsch who was married to Clara. 3: First Samuel Clemens worked as an apprentice for a publisher, and when 16 worked as a printer and later traveled to many different cities as a printer. Later, Clemens was a cub pilot for a Mississippi river steamboat; but then volunteered in the confederate cavalry during the civil war. 4: Mark Twain loved to make scrap books, and had souvenirs and pictures from every wear he went in his scrap book.
