BC: The End
1: It is hard to put into words the respect that we have for you. Choosing adoption for your child is the most unselfish decision you could make as a parent. This adoption journey has taught us just how deep your love for your baby is. The decision you have made to allow your child to be adopted will give him/her the best opportunity to be part of a family whose hearts are filled with so much love and support. We won't let you down. As we continue to wait for God to lead us, we are praying for wisdom and grace for you. God's word says in Proverbs to, “acknowledge God in all your ways, and He will direct your steps.” We pray that your faith in God will be strengthened through this act of love you have chosen for your child.
2: Scott | Scott is 39 years old. He was born and raised in a small town. He went to the same Christian School for 13 years and graduated in 1988. His mom still lives in the house where he was raised. This has given him stability. He went to college and was the first in his family to graduate with a college degree. | Scott love Water Sports | After working as a therapist at the hospital for 4 years, he wanted to be self -employed. He has now owned his own business for 8 years as a contracting painter. He has painted since he was a teenager and now has the flexibility of his own schedule. He loves water sports, fitness, softball and golf.
3: Heather | Heather is 33 years old. She moved around most of her life, living in 5 different states and 20 different houses by the time she was 20. She is very adaptable. She was in Christian school for most of elementary, then home schooled through middle school and high school. She graduated in 1995 and then went on to graduate from beauty school. | She has been self-employed for the majority of her career. Since having children, she now does mainly special-occasion hair and make-up. Most of these jobs are weddings and proms and occasionally she gets to fill in for a princess at a birthday party. She loves scrapbooking, sewing, reading and completing craft projects of all kinds.
4: Us | When Scott was 24 and Heather was 17, mutual friends set us up on our first date. In time, we realized that we were meant to be together, and two and a half years later, we were engaged. After a six-month engagement, we were married in December of 1997. | We are actively involved in our church and enjoy every opportunity to serve. Our church probably has the biggest VBS in our community, and we direct a class every summer. We've taught a couple's class together. Heather co-coordinates a Mothers of Preschoolers group and sings in the praise band. Scott is on the security team. He recently went on a mission trip to St. Vincent and used his painting skills to help rebuild a church there.
5: We waited 7 years after we were married to start our family. In the meantime, we established our careers, bought our house, and just enjoyed each other. Our children have filled our lives with a happiness that we never would have imagined. God is not finished growing our family. We all have hearts full of love to give. We are all looking forward to sharing this love with our next child. | Our Home | We have a big deck and fenced in backyard where the kids love to play. | Our home is very unique. It's a log cabin design with an unusual floor plan. Everyone says it suits us perfectly. Scott likes to do home improvement projects, and Heather is always re-decorating.
6: Hampton | Hampton was born May of 2004. He has been a joy to raise. He has such a sweet spirit. He is inventive and extremely smart. When Hampton laughs, you can't help but laugh with him. He is protective and cares very deeply. He is such a good big brother. | Brody was scared of a thunderstorm, and Hampton was comforting him.
7: Brody | Brody was born in January of 2007. There has never been a dull moment since he came into our lives. He is free-spirited with a quirky sense of humor. He's very adventurous and has a crazy imagination. He absolutely loves babies and is such a great helper. | Brody normally does not play with dolls, but in this picture he said he was "pretending to help feed the baby".

Each and every one of these people are praying for you and are so excited to welcome a new member to the family.
12: Jeremy has shared in our lives for many years and is much more than just a friend to us and our children. | Our children take Kindermusik together in our community. In this picture they are ducks with their heads in the water. | We always have the children in their "jammies" for our Christmas party. | The boys are aspiring golfers.

15: One of our favorite family activities is boating. This boat was Scott's dad's before he passed away. He left us all with a love for the water. We live only a few miles from a big lake and spend a good deal of our free time in the summer there. We also try to take the boat to the coast a couple times a year. Scott's been to Atlantic Beach every year since he was a kid. He even proposed to Heather at Cape Lookout during one of those trips! | FuN iN tHe sUn
16: Holidays | We celebrate everything in our house. We decorate for every holiday, and birthdays are a huge deal! We see holidays as a chance to share traditions that will hopefully be passed on for years to come. | Halloween is a treat! Aunt Jess and Heather try to have a theme each year. This year it was the Flintstones. Hampton wanted to be a tornado. He loves weather, so Scott was a storm chaser. We made their costumes ourselves. | Every St. Patrick's Day we all go green and eat authentic Irish food at a cafe in town. Ever since Heather's brother, Zach, went on a mission trip to Ireland, he helps us choose the cuisine. | Christmas really is " the most wonderful time of the year." | & | Traditions

They also put on the best "plays." | We do game night with board games and cards as often as we can. Our indoor S'mores maker is perfect for rainy days. All kinds of homemade entertainment is available for anyone who wants to join in.

19: Thank you again for sharing in our lives' experiences by reading our book. We want you to know that we are praying for you as you make the tough decisions you are facing. May God give you peace and comfort on your journey.
