FC: Moses By: Taylor Victorine
1: Moses's mother hid him for three months. | Moses was put in a basket and laid in the reeds by the river bank of the Nile.
2: Pharaohs daughter found him and raised him in the palace. | As Moses was getting older he killed an Egyptian and people were afraid of him.
3: God appeared to Moses in a burning bush. | God told Moses to lead his people out of slavery in Egypt.
4: Moses is scared so God told him to throw his staff on the ground and it turned into a snake. | He was still scared so God told him to put his hand in his cloak and it turned leprous white like snow then he turned it back to normal.
5: Moses had a hard time getting Pharaoh to let Israel out of slavery so God sent plagues for Moses to perform. | He made locus cover the land with Gods help. | He also made total darkness go over the land for three days.
6: Finally Pharaoh let them go but started to chase after them so God parted the Red Sea for Moses and the Israelites. | The people did not trust God so they had to wander in the desert for 40 years.
7: The people began to complain a lot to Moses about how they were hungry. | Moses asked God to provide food so God rained down manna.
8: God told Moses to speak to a rock to get water to drink. | Moses hit the rock and water poured out to drink and this was one of his sins.
9: Moses climbed a mountain and God spoke to him. | Moses saw God become a dense cloud that lead the way for them.
10: Moses received the 10 Commandments from God. | He then saw God descend into fire upon the mountain.
11: When Moses came back down from the mountain he found the Israelites worshiping a golden calf. | Moses saved them from certain death when he asked God to give them a second chance.
12: God told Moses to build a tabernacle so he built a tabernacle. | Moses then got to see the back of God.
13: Moses was not allowed into the promised land. | Moses lived for 120 years.
