BC: The End By Kamil El-Azzi
FC: My challenges and changes.
I am Kamil El-Azzi,I was born on 13th July 1997.I was born in Sydney Australia.I havnt been outside the country but I have been to Queensland and Canberra.I have 3 brothers younger than me and the person I can talk to is my mum because she is very understanding, helpful and loves me very much.
I am a maronite Christian,i believe in Jesus and all the holy saints and I value their work and their teachings.
I like playing baseball because I enjoy the game and having other friends.I also like playing my ds,watching action movies and looking after my pet guinea pig.
A positive challenge was starting my first game of baseball because i didn't know the game properly and couldn't hit the ball. I delt with it by learning how play the game and understanding it so i ended up hitting the ball. Another positive challenge was when i was in a race once and my friends were shouting that i can win. Then i ended up winning. I delt with it by not worrying about it before and during the race.
A negative challenge was when i was going to do a test and i thought that i couldn't do it but i ended up getting a good mark. I delt with it by just studying. Another negative challenge was when I was going to year 7 and i thought that it would be tough at first but i then noticed that it was alright. I delt with it by not thinking too much about it.
Five coping strategies i would give to a year 6 student coming to high school are to be organized for everything, be ready for the homework, always study to be up to date, make new friends to feel safe and ask someone if you need help.
Five support services for a year 6 student seeking help are to always tell the teacher if you are in trouble, always listen to the teacher and keep on track, if you find your work difficult tell the teacher, if you need help ask someone and if you are being bullied tell the teacher.
Two short term and 2 long term goals i would like to achieve are to be able to understand and complete the work given to me and to achieve good marks in exams and assignments.
One change i expect to have to deal with in the next 5 years is to be more confident.
