1: Europe Names here North America Names here South America Names here | Our World | Africa Names Here Antarctica Names here Asia Names here Australia Names here

2: Africa | Africa is the second largest continent. It is made up of 53 countries. The Atlantic Ocean is on the left side of Africa and the Indian Ocean is on the right side.

3: Africa is home to many animals. Zebras, lions, and elephants live there, just to name a few. | The African landscape is made up of deserts, jungles, and savannahs. | It is also the home of many different tribes of people who speak many different languages.

4: Antarctica is one of the smaller continents, being the fifth largest. It is surrounded by three oceans: the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans. There are no countries in Antarctica. | Antarctica

5: Antarctica is located at the South Pole and is known as the land of ice and snow. | Some animals love the cold and have made this continent their home. Seals and penguins live there. | It's too cold for people to live here, but sometimes scientists make short visits to studythe land.

6: Asia | Asia is the largest continent in the world. It is made up of 48 different countries. The Arctic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Pacidic Ocean surround Asia.

7: Some parts of Asia are very cold, while other parts are warm and tropical. The tallest mountain is found in Asia, Mt Everest. The lowest point in the world is also found in Asia. | More people live in Asia than in any other continent. 2 out of every 3 people on earth live there. | Asia is the home to many very special animals. Tigers, komodo dragons, and Asian eagles live there. It is also the only continent in the world where pandas can be found.

8: Australia is the smallest continent. It is the only continent that is its own country. It is also the biggest island in the world, totally surrounded by the waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. | A u s t r a l i a

9: Australia is in the southern hemisphere and is nicknamed "The Land Down Under." The seasons there are the opposite of our seasons because it is in the opposite hemipshere. | Aborigines are the native people of Australia. They live in tribes and usually reside in the Outback, which is the desert and bush country that makes up most of the continent. | Cool animals like the koala bear, the kangaroo, the dingo, and the platypus live there.

10: Europe is the second smallest continent. It is made up of 46 countries. Europe stretched as far north as the Arctic Circle and as far south as the Mediterranean Sea. | Europe

11: Europe is a favorite place for people to travel to. This is because there are so many famous places in Europe. Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, and the Alps are a few really popular attractions. | The people of Europe are very diverse. Each country has its own culture and language. This makes the continent rich in history and culture.

12: North America is the third largest continent. It is made up of America, Canada, and Mexico, the countries of Central America, and the Caribbean Islands. | North America

13: The people of this continent are as diverse as the land. People came from many different countries to live here. Sometimes this continent is called "The Melting Pot." | North America is a very diverse land.The north part of the continent is very cold and the south part is tropical. In between you can find mountain ranges, beautiful cities, deserts, and plains.

14: South America is the fourth largest continent. It is made up of 13 countries. The continent lies between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans in the Southern Hemisphere. | South | America

15: South America is the home of the Amazon Rainforest. It is also home to beautiful mountains, deserts, and coastlines. Because of the rainforest there are many different animals that live here. Anacondas, macaws, and sloths are just a few that live here. Some people of South America live in cities, while others live in poor countries and farm the land and reaise animals.
