FC: The Life Of Mark Twain
1: Mark Twain was born on November 30th, 1835 in Flordia, Missouri. When he was born, Halley's Comet was directly overhead in the sky, and when he died,it was in the exact same place.
2: Four years after Samuel was born, his family moved from Florida, Missouri to Hannibal Missouri. Hannibal was a town along the coast of the Mississippi River so Samuel grew up with a love for the water. The expirences that he had as a child along the river led him to want to become a steamboat driver.
3: Samuel Clemens worked as an editor and writer for the Buffalo Express (there he created penname Mark Twain) and later married Olivia Langdon in 1870. They had four children Langdon, Suzy, Jean, and Clara.
4: Samuel Clemens died on April 21st 1910. Samuel was such a great writer because he added rich language, setting, and great characters into his writing that changed the face of American Literature.
