1: About.... | What is the Biotechnology Society? Founded in 2006, the Biotech Society is an extension of the Professional Program in Biotechnology (PPib). The society provides a platform for students to network with professionals from the industry, seek advice from faculty and alumni and interact with fellow students sharing similar scientific intellect. | Who participates ? Current students, former students, alumni, faculty, industrial advisers, guest speakers are key partakers of the society. | What kind of events? Members of the Biotech Society have shown keen interests whether it meant interactive discussions with guest speakers or wavering away from the TAMU campus for industrial visits. Non-curricular social events like the Big Event, Replant Day, alumni BBQ, graduate farewell have been student's favorites.
