73: Departed Dublin, Ireland at 7:40 AM... on March 24, 2012 I would have to say this was one of our worst flights. As we took off in Ireland there was a loud noise after just leaving the ground. Captain said it was nothing to worry about and that a latch on the cargo most likely broke because all of their checks are good. When we go for landing in Atlanta eight hours later when and we are making our descent there is an even bigger and louder noise and this time it shakes the whole cabin. The captain said that they thought that was going to happen, and "We are going to circle around the airport to do some checks and make sure everything is okay for landing." So 15 minutes later he says their information is telling them that the right landing gear is not out all the way. So we are going to circle again and let the tower take a look. We circle a few more times for about 30 minutes. So we go to land and the captain says, "the worst case scenario is that the landing gear buckles and the plane slowly leans to the right side onto the wing and the wing helps bring us to a slow stop. Best case scenario is that we land just fine." He also tells us that the Fire Department and EMS are on site and waiting in case we have to make a emergency evacuation. So everyone is freaking out and throwing up in the process. We go in for landing and brace for impact but the landing turns out to be is just fine. Arrived in Atlanta at 2:00 PM Departed Atlanta at 3:00 PM Arrived in San Antonio at 5:00 PM
