Soon Peter came with my parents and we all had to run off to Uncle Hendrik’s bout . Peter gave my father an important packet but my father dropped it and we noticed once we got to the boat. Once we got in the boat we hid in a hidden compartment and we waited for hours, then Annamarie came with the packet. A few minutes after that some soldiers came, the packet contained a kerchief that was drugged so when the dogs sniff it they would lose their sense of smell. So the dogs didn’t find us. Then we went off to Sweden. We were free!

7: If I could meet Ellen I would be supportive to her and her religion. I would ask her some questions like , how did you feel when you got the news that soldiers were going to take away the Jews to concentration camps? What is your opinion on all of this? I would also like to go up to uncle Hendrik’s house and play in the forest.
