FC: Poetry by Josh McMillan

What is love, just a small town girl, What is love, just a city boy born and raised in south Detroit, they took the midnight train going anywhere. A singer in a smoky room, baby don't hurt me, the smell of wine and cheap perfume, don't hurt me no more. What is love, Don't stop believing, What is love, hold on to that feeling.

Haddaway Haddaway was born in Tabago and at the age of nine moved to Washington D.C. After growing up listening to Louis Armstrong, he started to play the trumpet and formed his own group at the age of fourteen. After giving college a chance, he moved to Cologne in 1987 to embark upon a marketing career, where he mainly worked in bars. Then in 1993 he became a big hit in Britain with "What is Love." Then began his famous singing career.

T.S. Elliot was born on September 26,1888 in St. Louis Missouri. 1898 to 1905, Eliot was a day student at Smith Academy and later went to Harvard in the early 1900s. Elliot was married twice and became a professor at Harvard in 1932-1933. He then married a second woman and it lasted until his death. Elliot's publications are still read and very popular and he will be known as one of the greatest poets. He died in January 4, 1965 (age 76) London, England.

Haddaway lived in the US and then moved to England, where his popularity soared and he became a pop legend. He gave college a shot, but it just wasn't his thing. He left college and pursued a marketing career. Then began the pop legend. Unlike Haddaway, T.S. Elliot went to college. He went to college at Harvard and this is where the famous writtings of Elliot began. Elliot, like Haddaway, moved to England for their work and he lived there for many years. Elliot lived there until he was offered a teaching job a Harvard.

End Rhyme At the toy store you hear I want that, you get them what they want, like their uncle and aunt, like that toy bat or toy cat, then they ask for more, so you leave the store.

Imperfect I just didn't know, but i do now, i thought she didn't like me, and then she came, I have never been so been happy, when my friends found out they started clapping.

School This place is like a prison, but helps our future become a vision, they feed us crappy food, so bring your own, dude, information is forced into our heads, it makes us sleep like we're in beds, we are forced to read bad books, and some teachers are like Captain Hook.

Band Class When I walk into class, I'm ready to play, I pick up my insturment and begin to warm up, after the whole class tunes, we get the piece we have to play, and then thats where the fun starts.
