FC: Kaley's Scrapbook | The horrors of the Salem Witch-Hunt
Witch-Hunt; Mysteries of the Salem witch trials | By Marc Anderson
 BOOK OVERVIEW
Witch-Hunt trials was about the Salem witches that were being accused in 1692. It explains how many of them were innocent people that the accusers didn’t like so they targeted those people. In court, it portrays how the accusers would act to make it look like they were intentionally being attacked by the accused in front of hundreds of witnesses. In many cases the court believed these outrageous accusations due to the show that was performed by the accusers.
 MY OPINION
I thought this book was interesting to read about how the court would decide who was a witch and who wasn’t, however the way that the author used these events and tried to connect to everyday life made the book very sketchy. It wasn’t interesting and I had to force myself to get through to the end. The Salem Witch Hunts was a topic that I was very interested in, partly because I seem to be accused of things that I never committed, and because of the “evidence” (actions of my accusers) I am always found as the guilty one. All-in-all I would give this book a two-star rating.
 MY INSPIRATION
My inspiration for the online scrapbook happened when I was scrapbooking my own life at home, and I remembered Mrs. Smoke mentioning the Mix book website, so I decided to check it out, and realized that it was what I wanted to use to represent the Witch-Hunt book. I thought it would be the best way to portray what I needed to, because it’s like someone from that time who is remembering those dark days, and decides to scrapbook it.

I met the criteria of this assignment by looking up the correct definitions on Google, and my theme is using green, gray and red on the inside cover. I choose this theme based on my book because in the Salem witch hunt times there were many sad periods that occurred, and also some wonderful times. The theme of the book was based on the horrible times of the Salem Witch hunt; therefore they chose the theme of red. I chose green, gray and red to portray the fact that this was not a happy time in the lives of many living all around the world.
CRITERIA | I also added pictures to my vocab word definitions in order to give the reader a better idea or understanding of what the word means. I also wanted to spread out my information and yet keep them grouped so as to identify them in an easier way. I listed my facts I learned in order to give the reader an idea of what information is contained within the book without making their eyes jump all over the page.
