1: Strike one! Strike two! Strike three - YOU"RE OUT! Nolan Ryan is the strikeout king! He has more than 300 career wins and is in the hall of fame. | wins and is in The Hall of Fame. Discussed in this book are his early years, middle years, later years, and how he impacted the world.

2: Nolan Ryan was born in Refugio,Texas in 1947. Also, he had one brother and three sisters. Then at six weeks old, he moved to Alvin, Texas and | started playing little league there at age nine.

3: Later in his life, one of the most exciting events occurred on June 28,1965. He signed with the New York Mets. Also, he had a wife and three children. Two sons and one daughter. Plus in the off-season, he lived on his ranch in Alvin,Texas.

4: Nolan Ryan made many accomplishments throughout his career. He made eight all-star appearances and won seven MVP awards. He finished his career with eight cy -youngs. A sad day for baseball was September 22, 1993, when he retired.

5: Nolan Ryan impacted the world of baseball greatly. First of all, he is considered one of the best pitchers of all time. Plus, he was a role model to little kids. Lastly, he was humble and loyal to about everybody.

6: Nolan Ryan has more than 300 career wins and is in The Hall of Fame. He was a hero to many and a role model to others. One thing is for sure, baseball became a more amazing sport as a result of Nolan Ryan's impact.
