“Whaat?” I stammered, my dad and I were looking at what seemed to me the biggest roller coaster ever, “you want me to ride that.” “Sure,” my dad said, “it will be fun.”
It had to be the hottest day of the summer. We had been waiting in line for the roller coaster for what seemed like hours with no shade. I was so nervous I was shaking.
We finally got to the point where I could see people getting on the ride. All of a sudden the coaster zoomed away and took my last wink of courage with it. My dad calmed me down and I soon wanted to be on the ride.
We were on the roller coaster strapped in and ready to go. Then we took off and started to climb the big hill. It seemed like ages as we slowly crawled to the top. Then I could see over the top and I almost screamed.
Then all of a sudden we dropped and my breath was ripped away as we plummeted down the hill blindingly fast. I screamed the whole way down but not in fear in joy. After I whooped and hollered as that had been amazing. I now loved what used to be that scary big hill.
