FC: The Railroad

Lincoln used the railroad to transport solders, and supplies in a week but would usually take 2 months to do on horse.

In the cars of the trains the solders would ether play cards or work on there guns

The rail road was used for mostly strategic resources | But it was also military targets. But they would have to bought from the owners of the railroad

The railroad was the unions primary transportation

Now the questions I had to answer

The rail road was used for transporting troops and supplies to the fronts

This was probably the top resource we had during the war.

The union had the benefit because we got control of the railroad, but the south didn't get control of the railroads, they couldn't transport supplies.

Then the union would have allot more trouble winning the war, They couldn't transport supplies or troops, and might have not even won the war

The union without the rail road couldn't deliver supplies or troops to the front lines and they could have had a better chance to die. Also couldn't have sent letters to families

They only thing was really important for the railroads was to transport cotton.

But it is still used for trips and for tours around the country. | Yes it is still around today but in a more high tech. But it not used as much as it was back then because now we have airplanes.
