FC: The Lonely Butterfly By Jillian West and Stephanie McLucas

Jeff is a lonely butterfly who is picked on everyday at school because he's a different color than everybody else. His classmates tell him that he is as ugly as a sloth. Jeff feels very alone in the world and feels very disliked.

One day, a new student came to school. His name was Conner the Frog.

The other classmates thought that Conner was cool and they did everything that he did.

"You're ugly, nobody likes you," said Betty the Butterfly. "You're stupid," said Benny the Butterfly to Jeff.

"Dudes, that's not cool. Have you ever heard of respect?" Asked Conner.

"But he's different!" Yelled the other classmates. | "Yeah! He doesn't deserve friends or respect!" Yelled Betty. | "Look at me! I'm a frog and you all think that I'm cool." said Jeff.

The classmates were silent with confusion and defeat.

"You should treat people the way you want to be treated." Jeff mumbled, afraid of what will happen. "What do you mean?" Asked another classmate. "Would you like to be called stupid?" Asked Conner, watching Jeff's pitiful face and glaring at the bullies.

"No" mumbled the classmates, coming to the realization that they were bullying and that what they were doing was truly hurtful.

The next day at school and all of the days after that, the lonely butterfly was not lonely anymore and was never bullied again. It takes one word to hurt another person and it takes one person to stand up for somebody. You can change the world.
