FC: My Mixbook

1: This poem not good too much because it talked about the raven when he came to the author and stayed outside the door and started to tap on the door than the author open heared that and he went to check from where that sound coming from than he open the door and looked outside to the darkness and he found a raven over his door and than both of them start talking by his own way,

2: To my Dear and Loving Husband is a nice poem because Anne talked about how she can not image her life with out her love to her husband in the real life and in the heaven.

3: If you forgot to read this poem you have to read it because it's a true poem and it will happen in the real life between any two and specially between man & woman.

4: I liked this poem by Shakespeare because showing us how we can find the real love and what's love mean.The true love is not by hours or weeks like the stupid people out in the life. Sonnet 116

5: The Rape of the Lock by Alexander Pope is a interesting poem. Because it talked about how rich people in London living their own life. | And how that man offended Belinda and her family by cutting off the lock of her hair

6: In Song of Myself, Whitman pays tribute to himself and his readers (“I celebrate myself and sing myself…”) as he depicts the physical, emotional, and spiritual world around him.

7: Phenomenal Woman This a great piece in which Maya express how proud she is about being a Woman a Phenomenal Woman. A woman that doesn't care what others think. She has a great self confidence she believes that even when she's not "suit a models fashion" man can still bend to her knees.

8: i am doing this poem for my english 106 and i am so glad that it is in my anthology because i think that it is beautiful and i find it amazing how she can say so much, so powerfully in so little words

9: "The Lady of Shalott" tells the story of a woman who lives in a tower in Shalott, which is an island on a river that runs, along with the road beside it, to Camelot, the setting of the legends about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

12: i`m a beginner in analyzing works of literature.i do believe that this is a great poem ......but it`s very difficult to analyze because it contains a lot of symbol and heavy word,,, also visual imagery that makes me confuse..... She Walks In Beauty

13: La Belle Dame sans Merci The poem describes the encounter between an unnamed knight and a mysterious fairy. It opens with a description of the knight in a barren landscape, "haggard" and "woe-begone"

14: Spoon River Anthology is a play that was adapted by Charles Aidman based on the poems of Edgar Lee Masters. Masters wrote a book of poetry in 1915 based on the town of Spoon River, Illinois. I don’t know if that was a real town or not, but there were a lot of people talked about. And this is a book of poetry and it is the story, stories that the people in the graveyard were telling about their lives. How they ended up in the graveyard.

15: is written about a Mariner telling his tale of sin and forgiveness to a small group of young men on their way to attend a wedding. The Mariner claims to be responsible for the deaths of everyone on board of a ship he once sailed because he killed a creature that was supposed to bring them the wind they needed to resume sailing after hitting a plateau in the ships movement. 16: Songs of Innocence and Experience too hard to understand it.

17: Linden Hills Talks about the problems that people have around the town. Everything going in Linden Hill which owned by Nedeed. Nedeed has a son his name also Nedeed and the father married to Walls. Page 1

18: Xavier, Roxanne, Laurel, Lester, David, Winston, and Willie are people who afraid from what other people think about them. page 2

19: Each one of them has his or her own story such as Xavier loves Roxanne and she is Lester sister and he started to think alot about that because this is wrong. Laurel has problems with her father and her step mother because both of them do not like what Laurel likes and everyday she had a fight with them so she goes to Linden Hills | where her grandmom lives because when she goes there she feels that is her house. Winston is totaly different from anybody else because he loves David and that a problem in Linden Hills so he get married from a woman but he still loves David. Page 3

20: Willie is the main character in the book. He and Lester are best friend from the school. | Both of them start to work to get a few dollars to buy the christmas presents Page 4
