3: Dubuque Thunder Baseball is a Youth 12U USSSA Tournament Travel team located in Dubuque, Iowa. As coaches it is our mission to develop youths to play fundamentally sound baseball, to play fair, to develop roles for each player on the team, to be good community role models and most importantly to have fun doing so. This is a new team created in 2009 and playing our first games in the 2010 season. We stress the importance for youths to work on proper conditioning, proper practice techniques, and proper fundamentals as well as for all of our players to continue to develop as pitchers and players. Although located in the Midwest with very cold winters, this is a team that practices and plays year round.

5: “Find something you love, and go after it, with all of your heart.” Jim Abbott
