FC: Our Little Paradise | Tolmie State Park
Only a mile from our house is Tolmie State Park which is fun to explore at low tide. On a very low tide day, we found a paradise for the boys to explore.
Baylen has expressed an interest in marine biology. He has fallen in love with tidepooling since we moved to the West Coast. It's good that we live so close to a place he can explore.

 Cold waves
Crabs, | Seashells, & | Sand dollars, oh my!
We could see Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountains from the water.
The boys had such a great time with the cold, squishy sand between their toes.
 Sand dollars
The last time I saw so many sand dollars was in Panama as a teenager. Our little secret treasure in Washington is at Tolmie State Park where sand dollars live by the hundreds. Maurice dug up this group as they were stacked on top of each other. It was hard to step where we wouldn't crush one. This is a gorgeous park, but the water is a bit chilly year round. Worth getting a little cold, though.

 A Favorite Place
If the water was warmer, we could stay here exploring all day. Low tide is truly spectacular with the Olympics and Mt. Rainier in full view. What a great place to enjoy during our time in Washington State.
 Boys + Beach = Fun
A family is pieced together with hope and faith. A family is quilted and bound with love and grace. Spending time with our family and enjoying the beauty of God's creation makes amazing memories.
