25: Many thanks to my gracious cousin, Beth Fisher, who arranged this weekend. She procured the gala tickets for us and we were able to attend with her. She saved us front row seats at the commissioning. She hosted us at the Pelican Club. She showed us Grace Episcopal Church with the stained glass window given in memory of our family members lost in the flood of 1900. She took us to Dr. and Mrs. Fred Fisher's home and she attended the fabulous dinner at the yacht club with us. We all stayed at a lovely hotel and Sunday morning we got to eat a farewell breakfast together with other Texas Navy admirals. All in all we had a wonderful time that exceeded all expectations.
