87: June 6, 2010 Vivi and Mommy visited Beth, John, and Lucinda Hauver in Kalamazoo. This is Vivi's first official swim. It took about 15 minutes to get use to the idea and then she couldn't swim enough!

88: What was Viviana up to? Got into sitting alone 3/14/10. After 2 months of thinking you were going to crawl any minute, you were on all fours and army crawling 3/3/10 and you finally crawled 3/12/10. Started saying "Da da" indiscriminately in mid-February and "Ma ma" indiscriminately the second week of March. First stomach flu 3/17/10. Technically, you stood up in the bathtub around 3/20/10, but standing on dry ground did not come until 4/1/10. Started Gymboree class 3/27/10. At 6:00 AM, 4/3/10, I woke up to find you standing in your crib for the first time!

89: Your bottom right molar started pushing through 5/8/10. Some time between February and March you had gotten two more teeth on the top too. In the following 3 weeks, your bottom eye teeth poked through too. By 10-month-old has 11 teeth! By 10 months you could climb stairs. Through April you started using furniture to walk with and through May you became very proficient at walking along anything with very little support. By the last week of May we wondered when your first independent steps might come. We think it was 5/27/10 and every once in a while throughout the day the first week of June we saw 2-4 wobbly steps. By June 10 (Mommy's birthday), you were toddling around. June - started saying "Bye-Bye" and waving, saying "Mamamamamama" very clear, and pointing and saying something that sounded like "what's that?" 6/17/10 you finally, after many attempts, understood how the straw on Mommy's water bottle worked and got your own water bottle with a straw. 7/1/10 Started using signs for "more," "milk," and "all done!"

90: This was at Tio David's graduation open house. We had just arrived and you were checking everyone and everything out. Tio Jorge put his hat on you! You cutie! Your Tio Jorge loves you so much and hopes so much that some day you will give him lots of hugs, kisses, and giggles! | 11 months
