1: About western.. | Western Carolina is located in Cullowhee, North Carolina, with a rural setting. It was founded in 1889 to bring higher education and career. | There are 8,396 students at Western Carolina University, 87% of whom are full-time students. While 83% of the student body.WCU had 315 total faculty, 242 of whom held doctorate or first professional degrees. The student/faculty ratio is 16:1

2: About Western.. | PAWS Paws, the official mascot of the Western Carolina Catamounts. | CAMPUS TOUR All tours begin at the Office of Admission, 102 Cordelia Camp Building. A student ambassador or an admission counselor will be your guide for an extensive walking tour of the campus.

Bird Scholarship Fund. Established by a bequest from the estate of Thomas W. Bird, this fund supports needy and deserving students. | Pilar Apodaca Scholarship. This fund was established to provide a scholarship with preference to Hispanic American students. 8: REFLECTION. | After doing all the research on western Carolina, it interests me more to apply there. I have learned allot through my research, including how much tuition would be, what the required gpa is, and some scholarships that are offered. The school seems great to me, because its not over crowed, has a good number of enrollment. My least favorite thing about WCU, would be where it is located, it seems to be isolated from most of the society. I would love to go to western if accepted.
