1: The Battle of Midway, was a war fought between the U.S. and Japan over U.S. mid- Pacific base at Atoll. The Japanese wonted to seek revenge on the U.S Pacific Fleet's aircraft force for the embarrassment they caused them on there own island. As a result The Japanese navel general Isoroku Yamamoto planed to attack Midway and invade Atoll's to small islands to establish a Japanese base there. The plan backfired, The Ward got back to U.S. Pacific Fleet Commander Chester W. Nimitz the Japanese plan's and he had his men ready to fight.
2: This is the island the Japanese wanted to take from the U.S to build a airbase.
3: On the morning of June 4th 1942 the island of midway was attacked by Japan's air fighter's
4: My Dear wife, Yesterday we made attempt to attack the Midway because we wanted revenge from the U.S. for embarrassing us in mid- April known as the Doolittle Raid. I'm planing on taking the atoll's two small island and establish a Japanese air base. How are you and children I miss you terribly . 5: On the morning June 5th 1942 The U.S. attacked Japan's air craft carrier Hiryu.
6: Dear loving wife, The American's found out about my plan. Their Communications intelligence had learned my tactics long before we even carried it out. How frustrating that is for the Japanese. Admiral Chaster Nimitz who is a U.S. Pacific Fleet commander then ambushed us. We lost four fleet carriers. I just want to come home. Your Husband Isoroku
7: On June 4th 1942 the Japanese bombed the USS (CV-5) ship. A bomb punctured the ships boilers.
8: On June 6th 1942 Japanese heavy cruiser Mikuma was bombed planes from USS Hornet (CV-8).Earlier that day USS Enter prise (CV-6) attacked them also.
9: On June 6th 1942 USS Hammann ( DD-412) was torpedoed by japanes submarine I-168.
