1: Why The US got involved The US Army got involved with the Second world War on December 7th,1941, when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The Western Allies (US and other Allied countries) immediately declared war on Japan. This is how and why the US got involved in WWII.

5: When The US got involved The US got on Pearl Harbor Day 1941. The war had already been going on for 2 years. Japan attacked a small naval base in Hawaii on December 7th, 1941. The United States declared war against Japan shortly after. This was the start of a terrible war. Which ended in 1945.

6: How did the war start? The Second World War started September 1st 1939. This was when Nazi Germany invaded Poland. Many countries were already at war at this point. But, smaller wars. The Second World War was a nation wide war. Involving the Allied and Axis Powers. Many lives were taken.

8: Which Countries were involved? The Allies The US, Great Britain, Russia, and France The Axis Germany, Italy, and Japan

18: Rosie The Riveter Rosie The Riveter was a cultural icon for women during WWII. She represented the women working in factories during the war. Other wise know as a Feminist Icon. She just represented and stated that women can do what the men can.

20: How did War end the Depression? The New Deal had already solved a lot of major problems with the Depression but WWII made it almost completely better. Many factories needed to make war goods which provided TONS of new jobs. Also, many American men were drafted to war. By then, thousands of men were serving and thousands of factories needed work. This began the start of rebuilding the US economy.
