Our family and friends are very supportive of our adoption plans and they look forward to helping us welcome our child home. Please take the time to review our profile. We hope that by reading it you feel welcomed into our hearts, our home and our lives. We would be honored to be chosen as parents for your child and we look forward to meeting you and the opportunity to build a relationship with you. Sincerely, Angie and Scott
About Us We have been married seven years and enjoy telling everyone how we met each other on Match.com! We were both looking forward to finding that special someone to share life with. I was on Match.com a few months before Scott sent me a message telling me "hi!" and that he checked out my profile. The first night we chatted back and forth for an hour and we also exchanged our personal email addresses. We both had travel plans for the weekend and when I returned home I had a message from Scott waiting for me. We quickly decided to exchange photos and phone numbers. We could both tell from the beginning that family was very important to us and we also shared similar interests such as visiting friends, attending sporting events and attending concerts. It felt very right that we should get to know each other. I'll never forget that August day when Scott pulled up in my parent's driveway for the first time! He was driving a dark blue Camaro and had the T-tops off. He was dressed very nice-a polo shirt with shorts and sandals.
We greeted each other with hellos and a hug. For our first date I chose to go to a steak house I have always enjoyed and told myself earlier in the day that if dinner went well I would ask him if he would be interested in going to a festival that was going on in my city. Dinner went very well so we headed out to the festival. We enjoyed spending the extra time together and had the chance to listen to live music and catch up with some of my close friends. Scott also got to meet my parents on our first date! When it was time to say goodbye for the night he asked me what I was doing the following weekend! We dated for only four months before Scott proposed in December of 2002! The proposal was so romantic; I could totally tell he had really given it some thought. He went to my parent’s house and told them he wanted to set up the house for the big event and ordered them out. They were fine with this because Scott had already asked them for their blessing. He printed a sign that said, Enter and follow the path that’s laid out for you. I was just coming home from work and had no clue at all what was going on. I read the sign and entered the house through the garage that led me into the kitchen. I saw rose petals laid out on the carpet and lots of candles burning. My heart was pounding with excitement! I first just followed the path that took me to the lower level of the house. When I got downstairs I realized I had to go back up stairs because there were love song lyrics by the candles I was supposed to read! I headed back upstairs to stop at all the special locations and eventually got downstairs where he was waiting for me. He was standing there in a very nice suit and had soft music playing in the background. He got down on one knee and popped the question! I said yes, and had tears in my eyes. I didn’t look down at the ring right away because I was so excited and nervous. I went into the bathroom to wipe my tears, and then asked him if it was a real diamond! What a dumb thing to say! You could say I was in total shock and did not see any thing like this coming!
Angie Writing About Scott Scott is a loving, honest, loyal and supportive husband. He is my rock. He holds me up and is there for me when I'm feeling happy or sad. I admire the love he has for me and others. Scott will make a great father; he is smart, loves to read, is playful, and loves unconditionally. I know he will bring complete happiness to our child. I love watching him interact with our niece Ava. When she sees her uncle Scott her face lights up and she gets a big smile on her face. Scott and Ava enjoy putting puzzles together and playing on the floor with toys. Scott is always ready to follow Ava's lead and let her tell him what she would like to do. We both just love following her lead and having fun with it. I'm really looking forward to seeing our child interact with Scott and myself.
Scott Writing About Angie Angie is a kind and compassionate soul who absolutely adores kids. She complements me perfectly, always lightening things up when I get too serious. Her many years of working in day care have given her a great outlet for her desire to rear children, as well as lots of great experiences. Yet at the same time not having any | children of our own has always left a hole in her heart. She’s fun, has a lot of patience, and is just an all around good person. She loves to spend time with all of our nieces, as well as our many second cousins on both sides of our family. She has fun enjoying many activities with our nieces such as: coloring, reading books with them, painting, bike rides or just playing at the park or ++ trips to the zoo. ++++++++

Our Wedding Day We were so blessed to have a mild winter Wisconsin day! We had decided to get married on December 20th because that was exactly one year after Scott proposed. The church ceremony was held in Angie’s hometown church. We were so thankful that so many of our friends and family members were able to join us that day. A very close friend of ours, who is also a minister at a nearby
church, conducted our wedding ceremony. His thoughtfulness and humor made our ceremony all the more wonderful. The day was magical for us and we are really looking forward to adding the next chapter in our lives. That is the chapter of bringing a child or children into our home and our hearts. We want to share all of the magical moments with a little one!
Our Home | A house is made of walls and beams, a home is built with love and dreams.
We live in a small city and it provides us with all of our needs and yet it's close enough to Madison that we can enjoy all the benefits the city has to offer. We have a four bedroom home and a big backyard with more than enough room for a little one to grow and play. We can envision our child running through the sprinkler, playing in the sandbox, chasing bubbles, planting flowers and doing many other fun activities with us. We're looking forward to taking walks, going to the park located just down the street and taking bike rides on the trails near our house. We know most of our neighbors by their first name. They are aware of our desire to have children and are very excited for us to become parents! We also live within walking distance of a newly built top-notch elementary school.

A couple of culinary traditions on Scott’s side of the family His mom’s side gets together for most of the major holidays and the seven layer Jell-o is a necessity. It’s tradition for the kids, both young and old, to peel apart the layers and eat them one at a time. It’s also very yummy with cool whip on top! When Scott was younger, his family never really had a tradition for Christmas dinner. That all changed one year when Scott was in his late teens. That year Scott’s mom was having trouble deciding on the menu so she asked the opinion of the rest of the family. Scott’s reply, Let’s make homemade pizza! The initial response was derisive laughter, but Scott persisted and eventually everyone else agreed. Since then, homemade pizza is the traditional Christmas dinner for Scott’s family. These days, several pizzas are required to feed everyone and satisfy all tastes and everyone participates in making them. | Family vacations.... We love to take vacations and can’t wait to share our love of travel with our child. Arizona is one of our favorites because of the beautiful scenery and we always have a place to stay at Scott’s parents' condo. We usually find our way down there at least one time per year. Some of our other memorable vacations include a trip with our parents to a great beach house in Texas that was located right on the water! And we will never forget our trip to Orlando, FL, home of Disney World! We had a wonderful stay when we vacationed there for our honey-moon. We also have a vacation rental agreement with Wyndham. We will take many more nice vacations anywhere we desire and we will be enjoying a condo where ever our travels take us! We are looking forward to sharing many great family vacations with our child.
Christmas... | Christmas is so special to us because we get to be with our families, and we love watching our nieces open Christmas presents. We look forward to giving our own child their very first Christmas present! | Our mantle will be complete with our child’s stocking hanging between ours. We enjoy putting up two Christmas trees. A big one in our family room and a smaller one in our living room. | We are really looking forward to adding another stocking at Scott’s parents' house. | This is one of Angie’s favorite nativity sets. She has owned it for years and happily displays it every Christmas. Scott’s mom saved some of Scott’s ornaments from when he was young and they now hang on this tree. We look forward to creating a special box full of ornaments for our child that they will one day cherish and love!
Our Commitment to you... Your child will know that you gave him or her life and the chance to come into our lives. We promise you that your child will have endless opportunities to blossom. We will love your child unconditionally and provide a safe and happy home for him or her. We will provide a Christian upbringing and will attend church together as a family. We look forward to a life-time of memories which will include: - Trips to the local zoo - Fun times at the neighborhood park - Attending sporting events - Walks around the neighborhood - Traveling with us to different vacation spots - Many family events and lots of opportunities to play with our nieces and cousins
