1: 30/05/2012 - Getting ready to be induced! Mom and Dad got to the hospital at 7am. First thing mom did was prepare the cot with baby things
2: While we were waiting..
3: Mom was given two doses of gel, one at 9am and another at 3pm. Contractions did not start until 8pm. | When things seemed to become unbearable around 11pm, Ms. Jacqui, Mom's Doula came. She was also there for Alyssa's birth.
4: JUDE RENE HISLOP | 31/May/2012 | 7 Pounds, 15 Ounces | 21 Inches | 3:24 am | George Town Hospital, Grand Cayman
5: J | Meet our precious little one | Mom sent Dad to rest since she felt like her contractions were easing up. Suddenly around 3am they became really intense and mom felt the urge to push. Nurse checked her and said she was only 6cm dilated but decided to break the water. Instantly she progressed from 6 to 10 and was ready to push. However the Doctor was not there and dad was still in Mom's hospital bed resting. The nurse told mom the just breathe through each contraction until the Doctor came. Dad rushed to the delivery room and let everyone know that the baby was on his way. Jude arrived 3:24 am with 4 quick pushes.

17: Alyssa meets Jude | BIG SISTER
18: Everyone thought he looked just like Daddy! He came out so fast that he was a little bit bruised. Everyone also commented on how "perfectly shaped" his head was | Jude had lots of visitors! Granddad, Grandma, Uncle Kraig, Aunt Christina, and Gannie were there after he was born. Uncle David, Auntie Diane, and Luke and Auntie Anna came in the morning. Papa, Uncle Kyle, Auntie Kathy and Auntie Kesrene also visited throughout the day.
19: Jude brought Alyssa some gifts! She got a stuffed frog, and some animals to colour. All the family came out meet the new addition.
20: J | Friday, June 1st. Awaiting Ms. Olive's bath after hearing the good news from the paediatrician of our discharge. Mommy is so excited to go home. Mommy packs the bags while daddy waits on Ms. Olive
