Over the next few days we saw Cami & Greg, Kristin, the Scrufaris, Dan, Edward, Stephanie, Brooke, Ana & Anna, Ashley & Adrienne, Leah, Rachel S., Steve & Lisa, & even Dr. Chancellor! 19: Cade's first friend & neighbor, Baby Jeff. Hanging out at 2 & 4 months old, not doing a whole lot but sitting. | Aunt PeiPei can't get enough of Cade | What a difference a year makes. Here they are again- now 12 & 14 months old.
Sweet Cheeks | Grammy & Granddaddy come to visit us in Athens... | and they take Cade to Granddaddy's favorite restaurant, the Varsity.

Still loves those fingers! | Superman!
June, July, & August meant lots of pool time for Cade. He kicked like a frog, put his face in, and had no fear of the water.
The summer was also a great time for visiting with family--Grammy & Granddaddy, Uncle Chris, Aunt Wendi, and Cousin Noah...
...and GongGong, PoPo, Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Alysia, Cousins Evan, Audrey & Emily, and Aunt PeiPei & Uncle Drew.
At 8 months old Cade was not just sitting up but army crawling, standing in the exersaucer and jumping like a Pro!
Cade was the cutest little Chick-fil-A cow that Cow Appreciation Day has ever seen! Aunt Pei made the best baby cow ears ever! | July
At the end of July we moved to Watkinsville. Cade loved swinging on the porch swing, going on quiet walks in the neighborhood, looking out into the pasture in the back yard, riding on the golf cart to see the cows, crawling all over the house, and going to the Shamrock pool.
Just after Cade turned 8 months old he sprouted his first 2 bottom front teeth. This made eating easier and Cade enjoyed chomping on bananas, corn on the cob, and whole pears from GongGong & PoPo's trees.
Cade had his first fun Labor Day weekend in Elberton, where he got Dad pretty good :) Fall weather was right around the corner.
Dancing with Dad | At 9 months Cade started pulling up on furniture, cruising alongside it, and walking all over the house with some assistance.
You'll be walking in no time... | September
Destin, FL Sept-Oct 2011 | At 10 months old, we took Cade to the beach for the first time and stayed in the Schoepf's condo. Cade loved playing in the water and was really interested by the feel and taste of the sand!
Cade's favorite thing to do at the beach was to walk in the water. It was a little chilly but he didn't seem to mind. | Meanwhile, Dad's favorite thing to do at the beach was to catch crabs.
In October we took a trip up to Fackler, Alabama so Cade could meet his great grandparents, MawMaw & PawPaw. Cade had a great time playing with them and he got to see PawPaw's big garden in the backyard.
In that same trip we went over to Chattanooga so Cade could visit his other great grandmother, MeeMee, and also see his Great Uncles Rick & Jackie and his Great Aunt Annette.
Grammy & Granddaddy came to visit us again just after Cade turned 11 months old. It was perfect timing because Cade took his first steps all by himself while they were here. So of course Cade had lots of practice that weekend walking back and forth.
While in Elberton one morning, Cade stayed with GongGong at the office. Of course GongGong is never without his camera so he got lots of good shots of Cade. | November
At almost a year old and walking, Cade was into everything...opening cabinet doors to pull out things down low and standing on shoes to reach things up high. Taking passport photos of Cade at that age was a challenge but made for some funny pictures.
Cade also loves to read books. You'll often find him with his Bible flipping through the pages. | You can usually find Cade wherever the food is. Don't let his size fool you...he's a good eater :)
C | We celebrated Cade's 1st Birthday with family. Aunt Alysia baked a yummy cake & then LeeAnne made it into the cutest little monkey. Cade knew exactly what to do when he saw it. He dug right in, picking and licking all the icing off his cupcake & his fingers.
After cake, a bath was in order. Cade loves his baths so much he could hardly wait to climb in.
Aunt Alysia & Uncle Jonathan, who has also been Cade's pediatrician this year. | Cade's 1st birthday present to open. | Aunt Pei & Uncle Drew
For Thanksgiving we went to Tifton. Cousin Noah picked out a fun birthday present for Cade--his very first Lego set. If Cade is anything like his boy cousins, Lego's will be his favorite toy.
Cade had his first accident & visit to the ER while in Tifton on Thanksgiving day. He tripped & fell, gashing his eye and needing a couple of stitches. He was the toughest 1 year old in town that day. | Vacuuming with Grammy | Playing with Aunt Wendi
 November 2011
Thankfully we had Cade's 1 year old pictures taken at Sears just before his birthday and thus before his bad fall. Ironically, just before he took these pictures, Cade tripped and fell, busting his lip. Even with a swollen lip, Cade still managed to take great pictures. Tough as nails and cute as a button...that's our Cade!
Our sweet baby boy has grown so much in this first year. We couldn't be more thankful for this wonderful blessing from God. His curious nature, sweet giggle, awesome dance moves (the shoulder shimmy being his newest) & natural rhythm, adorable grin and dimple, uh oh's,"army crawl, and the way he snuggles with his green blankie and sucks his 2 fingers are some of our favorite things about him. We praise the Lord for Caedmon Andrew Moore & the unique creation of God that he is.! We love you Cade.!
