9: The Missouri Tigers lost 31-10 to South Carolina the day after Henry was born, in spite of having a brand new Tiger fan.
11: Grandma and Grandpa Granger, Aunt Mary Beth, Alex, and Great Grandma Granger all came to visit the day we came home from the hospital.
19: At 4 weeks old, Henry is able to put himself to sleep at bedtime. He enjoys bath time, and wiggling to music.
20: At 5 weeks old, Henry has started holding his head up a little bit, and looking at toys if they are presented. He is outgrowing his newborn clothes, and has grown into the cloth diapers. He remains very expressive, although he does not seem to smile on purpose yet.
24: Henry's First Halloween
26: At nearly 8 weeks old, Henry has started smiling when we talk to him, and he prefers sitting up when he is not tired. He is sleeping longer at night, generally about 5-6 hours at once. He also has grown more attached to Mommy and Daddy, and likes to nap snuggled up on the couch.
27: Snuggle Time
28: We took our first trip when Henry was 9 weeks old, to visit Grandma and Grandpa Granger for Thanksgiving.
31: At ten and a half weeks, Henry rather suddenly discovered his hands. He developed the skill of grasping simple toys over the course of a single day, and loved practicing from then on.

41: The force is strong with young Henry | But he is not a Jedi yet
50: At 4 months old, Henry has lots of new skills. He reaches for toys and brings them to his mouth, and he is starting to try and roll over from his back to his tummy. He can push up with his arms a little bit during tummy time. He is also making a wide variety of cooing sounds as he learns the sound of his own voice.
53: At 5 months old, Henry enjoyed his first few snow days at Grandma Hall's house, passing the time in his new exersaucer. He also just got over his first major illness, RSV. He had to stay home from daycare for a whole week. Henry has rolled over a few times, and is getting better every time he tries. He can push up on his arms quite well during tummy time. We have tried a few solid foods, but he isn't sure about them yet.
57: A first child is your own best foot forward, and how you do cheer those little feet as they strike out. -Barbara Kingsolver
61: At 6 months, Henry is able to sit with less support (just the boppy) and loves to laugh and smile. We suspect he might also be teething, as he has been fussier than usual sometimes of late. He rolls all over the place now, and we suspect he will be trying to crawl soon.
62: Our Little Gamer Who you callin' a noob?
63: Henry seems to like his brand new bedroom. He is sleeping much better and he enjoys playing with all his toys there. He's also been practicing sitting up on his own; if we get him in position, he can sit without support!
64: A Day at the Park
68: At 7 months old, Henry can sit up on his own for extended periods if we put him in a sitting position to start with. He has started to enjoy solid foods. His favorite so far seems to be oatmeal, but he also likes bananas, carrots, mixed veggies, and chicken broth. He is making a wider variety of sounds, one of which sounds a lot like "dada," although he doesn't seem to know what it means yet.
