S: Christopher James Waseleski
BC: Today we bless the Lord and remember the divine benefit of CJ Waseleski. This little guy, though with us for a brief time, influenced so many. Christopher James Waseleski’s Creator gave him to us and then received him back to His presences where CJ now worships before God’s Throne. James 1:17 says, “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” CJ is a good gift from our God. He is a “perfect” gift from above. God is not only the Giver of good gifts, He does so with a purpose. God makes no mistakes, He is a God with “whom there is no sifting shadow.” This simply means that He fulfills His own purposes for His own glory. God is faithful to His own plans. You can be assured He has been faithful to CJ. We rejoice to know that CJ was a definite part of God’s plan. He will forever be a part of God’s plan and God’s intention is to use CJ’s short life to influence yours. | The Bible says that life is fragile. Our time on earth is like a vapor, “it appears for a little while and then vanishes away.” The most vital knowledge we must have while we have life is knowledge of Jesus Christ. He alone is the giver of eternal life in heaven. Christ gave His life so that you might be influenced by His sacrifice to turn and trust His as your Lord and Savior. God gave us CJ’s life to remind us of how fragile life is and to give us opportunity to trust Christ while there is still time. 3: How we found out... I always dreamed of the day I would become a mother while, Chris was a little more hesitant. When Pastor Tim did a big series on children last summer, Chris began to consider the idea. We weren’t necessarily trying to get pregnant at the time but, around Halloween, I had my yearly “checkup”. Apparently, my doctor could tell I was pregnant while checking things out (I had NO idea). She began asking me random questions about how long I had been married, did I want children, etc. Then she had me take a pregnancy test to confirm her suspicions. She told me in the waiting room that I was indeed pregnant. I was completely and totally shocked! I think I drove the whole way home with my mouth open. When Chris came home from work I showed him the paper with my “diagnosis” from the doctor. Chris took it pretty well. I believe he said something like “This will be good!” That night we attended a mystery murder dinner at Amy and Jim’s house. All night we couldn’t stop smiling about our little “mysterious secret”. | The Big News
"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them." Psalm 139:13-16
Amy, Jim, Sebastian, Dan and Beth Gray, Chris and I all went to a Monster Truck Rally at the Q one Friday evening. Pretty hillbilly, I know! It was the loudest experience of my life. I had been feeling CJ flutter, kick, and turn for a few weeks. However, Chris had yet to feel any significant kicks. The Monster Truck Rally did the trick. CJ was going nuts that evening and Chris was able to feel him kick for the first time- a true father son bonding experience!
BABY CJ | We had a surf themed nursery ready for CJ. Everyone helped. My dad painted the walls, My mom made his bedding, Sharon painted the trim, Grandma Bear sat at the house all day to be sure the furniture was delivered. He was going to be the cool surf kid! Amy and Sharon threw me an awesome surf-themed shower. Both of my Grandmas and mom came down from Michigan to attend the shower along with many other precious Ohio family and friends.
Granny Panties? When I opened the present from my sweet Grandma Grover, I found a large pair of underpants?!?!? At first everyone laughed, thinking it was a joke (like that is what I was going to have to wear now that I was a mother!). When we realized that it was actually a mistake (somehow Grandma had accidentally thrown her underwear in with my gift), everyone laughed even harder. (Whew! At least I don’t have to wear them!)

 COUSIN'S | CAMP
My cousin Kate and I have always been close. We always loved to do everything together. We thought it was great to dress the same, get the same toys, and be with each other all the time. Every summer I would stay with them for a week in Northern Michigan were they lived. This week came to be known as “Cousin’s Camp.” My Aunt would plan all sorts of activities, crafts, outings to keep us entertained. We even slept in a tent in their backyard for most of the week. Come to find out, Kate and I both were pregnant at the same time and due within a week of each other. At her baby shower, my Aunt gave us onesies that said “Cousin’s Camp” so our kids could carry on the tradition. | Alegra & Kate | Sweet

In Loving Memory | of our dear son
Parting | is such sweet | Sorrow | But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
