'Babies are such a nice way to start people.' ~ Don Herold | May 2010 Connor seemed to be sleeping everywhere!
June 2010 Connor still cried often when seeing his Grandpa, although that soon ended. He started beefing up a little and was made even cuter by his dimples and extra chin. Connor loved being close to Mom and was carried everywhere by his Mommy in his Moby carrier.
July | sunshine | Two of Connor's favourites (and Mommy's too!) He loved his Ocean Wonders crib soother, even using his little feet in his crib rails to get to it, and he loved his swing - instant nap everytime.
July 2010 | In July we celebrated many firsts - first roll over (just before Daddy left for a long work trip) first solid foods (carrots and sweet potatoes, loved them) and first bottle feeding (that did not go so successfully).
August 2010 | August was a summer of fun. Connor ate every opportunity he had and Mom was very busy making all his food. He jumped around in his jumper and enjoyed every chance he had to spend with his Grandma & Izzy. August was also his first visit to Daddy's office. Although he still did not take a bottle he would take a sippy cup.
Trip to Brockville to visit the Hutts | September 2010 - Connor's first slide at the park. Connor loved the first slide that Mom knew he was ready for, it was Dad that said he could go down the big slide all by himself, at not quite six months old. As Mom snapped the photo you can see Connor's little feet mid air just before he tumbled 'ass over tea kettle' down the slide.
September 2010 - Celebrating Connor's Sixth Month Birthday! The Little Prince enjoyed his special day with a family bbq and ice cream cupcakes. Uncle Jeff said that a "six month birthday is not a thing" and Grandpa declared that he "expected a party when he turned 55.5", but Grandma knew what a special day it was!
October 2010 opposite pg, L to R: Hutt Family/ Ready for Mommy & Me Yoga/ Connor & Grandpa/ Loving the swings! Connor & Mommy celebrating Halloween as blue monsters . . . Mom being a beautiful blue monster. Dad wore a shirt that read, "This is my Halloween costume, I am scary enough.:

Mom . . . you once told me that all you ever wanted to be was a mother. You were, and are, an amazing Mother, and everything you did for me has given me all I need to be an amazing Mother to Connor. Having Connor has been the most wondrous year of my life, and I know it is only going to get better. Seeing the world through my son's eyes is pure magic. This picutre I selected of us is one of my favourites. You can see that magic, that wonder, that awe in both of us. The connection we had since before I was born. Thank you, thank you, thank you. For a million things, for everything. Thank you for being a mother, a friend, a teacher, a housekeeper, a cook, a nurse, a chaffeur., a refree, a psychologist. An amazing Grandma. I don’t know what I would do without you. I love you very, very much. If I can be half as good a mother to my children as you are to your children, I will do exceptionally well. | \Love: Karen xox
