BC: God Bless! You are Loved!
FC: Paul & Chrisma
Hello! We are Paul and Chrisma. We think you are a very special person to consider adoption. Please know that we respect you and your decision, and we know that you are doing this out of love for your child. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile. After trying to conceive for about three years unsuccessfully, fertility drugs, specialists, etc., we were determined to have a family and felt God tugging at our hearts. We responded to the tug by beginning the adoption process and awaiting the day we could welcome a beautiful child into our home and family. June 3, 2011 we welcomed our first adopted child into our home: Dylan Patrick. He was and continues to be such a blessing! We also have a dog we adopted five years ago named “Belle” who is wonderful and special to us and two cats, Emma and Teddie., that were adopted as well. That is our family and we continue growing with each new challenge. We have continued to pray about what God’s plan is for our family. At times we have done a lot of crying and other times there has been laughter and happiness. We desire to have another child, allowing Dylan to have a sibling and to be able to share the love we have with another child. The desire to love our children is deeply rooted in our hearts and we feel so blessed to be able to walk this journey. We can only imagine the many feelings you may be having at this time. Please know that we are praying for you and the very important decision you will make. This decision is a self-less decision. Please know that if your child is placed in our home, we will love them unconditionally. We will raise them in a home that is full of love, respect, Christian values, family time, laughter, and lots of great memories. More importantly, YOU will be loved by us! You are doing something for us we can never do for ourselves. If we adopt your child, you will be another child of ours and we will love you unconditionally as well! Sincerely, Paul and Chrisma
We are so excited to welcome you and your child to our family! Let us begin by introducing ourselves: we have been married now for almost 6 years and have a dog named Belle, and two cats: Emma and Teddie. Paul works for a furniture manufacturer and Chrisma is a 3rd grade teacher. | Here is our story...
Paul and I met at church. We were friends for a long time before Paul finally asked me out on a date. We dated for eight months and then he proposed.
Paul proposed on Valentines day, of course I said: "yes!" | We were married 5 months later on July 28, 2007
We enjoy paintballing in our free time along with going to Barnes and Noble to get a cup of coffee and read. We also enjoy getting a frozen pizza and Red Boxing movies on Friday nights after a long weeks work.
We knew that we wanted to have children down the road after we got married, but the best made plans never work as we intend them to.
After 3 years of not conceiving, we decided to adopt. This was the BEST decision we EVER made!!
This is our dog Belle. We adopted her shortly after we moved into our home.
Due to a hard run of physical abuse from previous owners, we enrolled her in school at Petsmart. She did such a great job despite her trials. She graduated!!
Emma and Teddie are barn cat sisters.
Of course, most importantly, the latest addition to our family: Dylan Patrick. | Born June 3, 2011 at 8:40 p.m. 6lbs. 8oz.
Lisa is Dylan's birthmother. She is AMAZING! Her and I roomed at the hospital together after Dylan was born. Paul had his own room and helped as well, but Lisa and I really got to connect this way. We ate cold pizza and donuts at 2:00 A.M. I loved this time together!! | Lisa visits and we have a very open relationship on her terms. I send her text pictures and we text regularly about how everyone is doing. She is a significant part of our family story...we adopted her too!
Grandpa Tom (Lisa's father) He loves his grandpa! | Uncle Trey (Lisa's brother) . Dylan wants only Trey when he is around...LOL! | Grandma Marcie (Lisa's Mom) She adores him and he loves her too!
We have an open relationship with Tom and Marcie. We arrange visits at their home as well as ours. We love them like our family. They are another set of parents to Paul and I. We Love them very much and appreciate their love and acceptance of us to their family!
 SO BLESSED!
With the adoption, life changed! More laughter, love, and thankfulness!
 More recent family photos!
Paul's parents, Ray and Sue, live in another state close by.
Chrisma's parents, Dale and Christine, live in a city close by.
Paul's sister, Jaime, lives in a city close by. She has 2 boys: Aiden (3) and Wesley (1).
Chrisma's brother, Dale, lives in a city close by. He has 1 son: Takoda (2) and two step-sons: John (10) and Brion (9).
About Chrisma (by: Paul) | Chrisma is one of the most up beat people I know. She sees the fun in life, and the joy in day to day living. Her smile is one of the first things that attracted me to her. I consider myself lucky to be able to see it every day. Chrisma loves to help others. She chose a career in teaching so she could help children, and she volunteers with children at our church. She's always willing to lend a hand to a friend who needs help moving or just needs someone to talk to. Even though it sometimes seems that we are complete opposites, I know that I made the best choice I could ever have made in Chrisma. She is patient and kind, and our relationship is always growing stronger.
About Paul (by: Chrisma) | Paul is by far the most loving man that I know. I am so very grateful to have him in my life and to be able to love him! He is very intelligent and has grown so much throughout our marriage, especially since becoming a father. I am truly amazed at how much he has changed and his desire to put family first. He has really stepped up to the plate and become the husband and father we need him to be. Paul enjoys playing guitar, watching TV, video game nights with the guys, movies, drumming, recording music, spending time with Dylan and I, reading, and playing the mandolin. Words alone do not give him the credit he deserves. God has blessed me with an amazing husband and Dylan with an amazing father!
Thank you for allowing us to share our family with you! We are a open and welcoming family with lots of love to give! We hope to meet you soon!
