1: This cookbook was inspired by all of the talented cooks among the 11BS extended family. | For Tammy:


3: Cheese & Egg Casserole from Sarah's Kitchen | 12 oz monterey jack cheese grated 12 oz cheddar cheese grated 1 small jar pimento, diced 1 small can green chilies 9 eggs 1/2 cup milk Mix first 4 ingredients in a 9"x13" pan. Beat eggs and milk until frothy. Pour over cheese mixture in pan. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Let set 10 min. before cutting. Serves 12.

4: Ingredients: 14 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained (Rotel) 1 lb. loaf velveeta 2 larged cooked, chicken breast halves, shredded 1/3 cup sour cream 1/4 cup diced green onions 1 1/2 Tbs. taco seasoning mix 2 Tbs. minced jalepeno pepper or to taste 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained Put all but black beans into a crockpot; cook on high stirring occasionally until the cheese has melted and the dip is hot. (1-2 hours) Stir in the black beans and cook 15 min. more. Serve with chips - Yummy! | Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip | Sarah's Kitchen

6: Laura Jorgensen | Baked Camembert with Sauce | This is so delicious and easy! Place a nice Camembert round into an oven proof serving dish, roast in a hot oven for 15-20 minutes, until middle is warm, bubbly and wiggly. Remove from oven and top with any gourmet sweet and spicy sauce. I prefer a raspberry chipolte sauce, there are several brands out there. Spread on water crackers or french bread. | 375-400F | 15-20 m | 4-8 depends on size of cheese | Jorgy's Family

10: Oriental Cabbage Salad - Yum! from Laura's kitchen 1 head Napa/Oriental cabbage, sliced 1/2 head regular lettuce, sliced 4 green onions, sliced thin 2 cans slice water chestnuts, chopped 1/2 c. slivered almonds 3 T. sesame seeds 2 pkg. Oriental flavor Ramen noodles 1/2 c. vinegar 2 T. sugar (I use splenda) 1/2-3/4 cup oil pepper to taste 2 seasoning packets from ramen noodles Combine cabbage, lettuce, water chestnuts and sliced onions. Save in serving bowl. Toast almonds and sesame seeds. in hot pan or oven - watch carefully! Crumble noodles and brown in small amount of oil (sesame oil is nice). Let cool and store in ziplock. Mix remaining ingredients to make dressing, save in small bottle or cruet . Combine everything just before serving.

15: "There is no love sincerer than the love of food." ~George Bernard Shaw | Italian Salad for 4 | from Tina's Kitchen | Cut lettuce, any type. Add mozzarella cheese, black olives, red onion. Mix together, then add dressing: 2 Tbs. olive oil 1 Tbs. red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp. balsamic vinegar add salt & pepper and mix in a cup.

19: Melissa Gibson Easy Peasy Chicken Legs | 14 chicken legs olive oil salt & pepper garlic powder Preheat Oven; Sprinkle legs with olive oil, enough to cover generously. Bake 60-90 minutes, turning once. 400F 60-90 4-6 | The Gibson Family

20: Amy Colina Easy Pot Roast 3-4 lb shoulder beef roast (well-marbled) 1-12oz bottle of Lawry's "Steak & Chop" 30-minute marinade 1-12oz jar of Heinz "Home Style Savory Beef Gravy" Place beef roast in slow cooker and pour marinade over top. Cook over med/low for 6-8 hours, flipping once. Skim off fat (as much as possible) and pour off about half of the juice. cut or shred meat a bit. Add the jar of gravy to the slow cooker and heat on high until warmed. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles. | The Colina Family

21: Jorgy's Fave Post-Flight Chicken Broccoli Casserole 1.5 lb. pack, fresh, chicken breast filet 8 -12 oz. shredded colby cheese (Jorgy says cheesier is better!) 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 8 oz. pack frozen broccoli, partially thawed, drained Hot cooked rice First cut up the chicken, tenderize and season as desired. I use soy sauce, garlic, pepper and sesame oil. Saute chicken until done. Layer chicken in a medium sized casserole dish, then layer broccoli, then spread soup, then top with cheese. Bake in a 350F oven, 45 min, till bubbly, covered. Uncover for another 15 minutes. Cook rice while casserole is baking. Serve over hot rice.

23: Paula Deen & Pappy's Creamy Southwest Mac and Cheese 2 C. uncooked elbow macaroni 2.5 coups (10 oz.) grated sharp cheddar cheese 3 eggs, beaten ~ 1/2 C sour cream 10.75 oz can condensed cheddar cheese soup (Pappy uses "nacho cheese" version) 4 Tbs. butter, cut into pieces 1/2 tsp salt ~ 1 C. whole milk 1/2 tsp dry mustard ~ 1/2 tsp. pepper Diced green and red bell pepper-to liking (Pappy uses 1 each.) Add thick diced chunks of ham if desired. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 13x9" baking dish. Boil the macaroni in a 2-quart saucepan in plenty of water until tender, about 7 min. Drain, return the drained macaroni to the saucepan and add 2 C. of cheese. Stir until the cheese melts while the macaroni is hot. Add the eggs, sour cream, soup, butter, salt, milk, mustard, pepper, and bell peppers/ham (if desired) and stir well. Pour the mixture into the baking dish, smooth top and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 C. of cheese on top. Bake for 40 minutes, until browned and bubbly. | The Mills

24: Melissa Gibson Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken | Rotisserie chicken (minus breasts) 1 large onion 2 medium celery stalks, chopped 2 medium carrots, chopped 1 can (28 0z.) diced tomatoes, undrained 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed 1 c. chicken broth 2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce | Spray 5-6 qt. slow cooker; mix all ingredients, minus the sauce, cook on low 8-10 hours. Stir in sauce. Sprinkle bleu cheese if desired.

28: Angela's Southern Banana Pudding 2.5 cups cold milk 1 package (5 oz.) Jello Vanilla Flavor Instant pudding 30 "Nilla" wafers 3-4 bananas, sliced 2 tubs of Cool Whip Topping, thawed Beat mild and pudding mix with whisk, 2 min. Let stand 5 min. Place desired amount of wafers on bottom of 2 qt bowl, top with layers of 1/2 bananas and pudding. Before layering pudding, I mix in a tub of cool whip with the pudding. Repeat layers of bananas and pudding mix, and wafers. Cover with Cool Whip and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Tammy, I have enjoyed every minute of your friendship - You are super! 29: Cake Cookies from Melissa Gibson | 18 oz. package cake mix (any flavor) 1/2 c. ( 1 stick) butter, softened 2 eggs (for chocolate mixes, use 2 T of water) Roll into 1" balls and bake at 350 degrees F for 9-12 minutes on an un-greased cookie sheet. Note from Melissa: I find that flavors like lemon and pumpkin make much better cookies than white or chocolate.

30: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies From the kitchen of Julie Babboni 4 eggs, 2 tsp baking soca, 1 1/2 C. sugar, 2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 C. brown sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 2 C. shortening, 1 large pack of chocolate chips, 3 C. flour, 4 C. oatmeal, 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional) Beat eggs, sugars and shortening; Add flour, soda and salt, mix well; add vanilla and chocolate chips; add oatmeal, mix thoroughly. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet; bake at 350F for 17-21 minutes. Remove from oven when still a little gooey, they will set as they cool on a rack. | The Babboni Family

31: Name | Ooey Gooey Bars from Sarah's kitchen | Nonstick spray, for pan 1 box pound-cake mix (16 oz) 1/2 cup butter, softened 4 eggs 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 3 1/4 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 9"x13" baking pan. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter and 2 eggs. Mix until smooth. Spread mixture evenly in pan. In a medium bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 2 eggs, and cream cheese. mix until smooth. Carefully spread cream cheese mixture evenly over first layer and sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Dust with remaining sugar and cut into 2" squares.
