1: From Our Family to your Family with lots of Love!

2: Crockpot Glühwein | 1 Large Bottle of Cheap Red Wine 2 cups of sugar 6 - 8 Cinnamon sticks Whole allspice 2 cups Orange juice Whole cloves 2 Oranges 1. Pour the red wine into your Crockpot. 2.Slices oranges and then put about 4 cloves into each slice, then put them in with the wine. 3.Break the cinnamon sticks in half or thirds and put them in with the wine as well as 10 of the whole all spice. 4.Add in 2 cups of orange juice. 5.Add in 2 cups of sugar and stir (if needed add more sugar to taste. The cheaper the wine you may need more sugar.) 6.Stir on and off for about 2 hours. | 7. Drink and be happy :) | Adult | Buerger's Crockpot

3: Texas Sweet Tea | 4 Family size Lipton Tea Bag 1 1/2 c. Sugar 1 Lemon sliced Place water in a saucepan and heat until it comes to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and place tea bags into water. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Pour mixture into Tea pitcher, add sugar and stir. Fill the remainder of the tea pitcher with water and stir. Pour into glasses with ice and add a slice of lemon.

4: Irish Poorman's Stew in the Crockpot | Stew meat (brown in flour) 1lg beef broth | 1 can petite diced tomatoes 1 can tomato paste | 1 bag frozen green beans 1 can sweet corn | Bag of carrots 4 potatoes cut in pieces | Add all ingredients into crockpot, season with garlic, salt pepper, tony chachere's Cajun Seasoning. | I add tony chachere's several times as I add my ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. | You may need to add water depending upon how thick you want your stew. | Low | 8hrs | 6-10 | Buerger Family | Irish Poorman's Stew

5: Jessica | Mom's Famous Chili | 1lb Hamburger meat-browned and drained | 1 bag frozen sweet corn | 2 cans Rotel | 1 can tomato sauce | 2 cups water | Serve over chili cheese Frito's and top with cheese | Mix all ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 8hrs. | Low | 8hrs | 6-10 | 1 package 2 Alarm Chili Seasoning

6: 1c. Flour 1 Egg Garlic 2c. Milk Salt Pepper Large package of cube steak or deer steak 1 Large bottle of Crisco Oil 1 Pioneer Country Gravy Mix On stove place frying pan with oil on medium heat. Be careful not to get the oil too hot. In a bowl mix together the flour, garlic, salt, and pepper. In second bowl mix the egg and milk together. Take the meat, dip it into the milk, and then into the flour, and repeat one additional time. Then place the meat into the frying pan and fry until done. Top with gravy-use one package of Pioneer Country Gravy mix and make according to the package directions. Serve with homemade mashed potatoes!! Yummy!!! | Chicken Fried Steak | Katie's Favorite

9: "There is no love sincerer than the love of food." ~George Bernard Shaw | Buerger Family | Peach Cobbler | 1/4 c. butter 1 Tbsp baking powder | 350 | 40 mins | 10 | 1 c. flour 2/3 c. milk | 1 c. sugar 1c. sliced peaches | 1/8 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cinnamon | Melt butter in 7x11 baking dish. In bowl mix dry ingredients, add milk and stir well. Pour mix into dish. Do not stir. Pour in peaches with juice. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in oven preheated to 35o degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

10: 1/4 c. cooking oil 1c. uncooked rice 1-15oz. can of petite diced tomatoes 4 tsp Spanish rice seasoning | In frying pan brown rice in oil. Then add tomatoes Seasoning, and water. Cook till rice is tender. | Crazy for Mexican food | Spanish Rice Tex-Mex Style | 4c. water | You may have to add more water if needed as rice cooks. | Shooter going crazy

11: LeAllan's Favorite...... Corn Casserole | Creamed Corn Casserole 2 can cream style corn 1 can sweet corn 1 beaten egg 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. onion chopped 1/2 c. cracker crumbs Salt and Pepper Topping 1/3 c. cracker crumbs 2tbsp melted butter Mix together main ingredients and pour into greased baking dish. Cover with topping mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

12: Aunt Joanie's Cake | 3 Sticks Butter 1 C. Sour Cream 3 C. Sugar 1 Tsp. Vanilla 6 Eggs 1 Tsp. Almond Extract 3 C. Flour (1 C. Flour in mix at a time) 1 C. Pecans Chopped Tsp. Soda 7 Oz. Coconut Tsp. Salt Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Make sure you add the ingredients into the mix as listed in the above order. In mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar together, then add in one egg at a time making sure to mix all ingredients well. Next add the remaining ingredients in order as listed above. When all ingredients are mixed in well, pour into a greased bundt pan and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes. Then cool cake and drizzle with icing recipe below. Icing 1 C. Powdered Sugar, Tsp. Vanilla, Tsp. Almond Extract, 1 Tbsp. Milk Mix all ingredients together till mixture is a drizzling consistency off of the spoon. Then drizzle over cake.

14: Oma's Haus | Oma's German Sweet Rice | 1c. dry rice | 6-8 | 2/3 c. sugar | 1/4 tsp. salt | 2 c. water | 3 c. milk | Mix all ingredients together and cook till | rice is done, Pour into a serving bowl and | top with sugar and cinnamon. | German Sweet Rice Yummy!!!!!

15: Saddie's South Texas Reds | 1pkg red beans - make sure you pre-soak 1-diced onion 2-cans Rotel 3-tbsp Garlic 1-lb diced ham 1-sausage link 1-large box of beef broth 4-Cups of rice cooked according to rice directions Pre-soak your beans for 12hrs, drain and rinse. Dice one onion and place on the bottom of crockpot, add the two cans of Rotel, add garlic. Next add beans, then add diced sausage and ham . Pour beef broth to cover the meat. Season with Tony Chaceries's, more garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook on High for 6 hours. Take your potato masher and slightly mash the beans. | Better than Popeye's Red Rice and Beans

16: 1-Pork Loin | Buerger Family | Crock-pot Pork Loin | 1-Package Lipton Onion Mushroom Soup Mix | 1-Large Box of Beef Broth | Garlic | Salt and Pepper | Cook on Low 8 hours | 4-6 | 8 Hrs | Crock-Potting with Pork | London | Low

17: Crackers Chicken Cacciatore | 3 lbs chicken, cut up in pieces 1 large onion, thinly sliced 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste 6 ounces sliced mushrooms 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped 2 -4 cloves garlic, minced 2 teaspoons oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon celery powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup dry white wine 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional Mix all ingredients into crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours.

18: Garlic, Salt, Pepper,-To Taste | 1 Package of beef or chicken pre-seasoned fajita meat | 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, one onion | Place meat in crockpot, cover meat with water, chop peppers and onions place in crockpot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve on tortillas with rice, beans, cheese and sourcream. | Buerger Family | Crockpot Fajitas-Buerger Style | Low | 8hrs | 6-8

19: Tequila's Lip Smack-en Spicy Ribs | 4 cans of pinto beans, drained 1 medium onion, chopped 4 lb country-style pork ribs, trimmed of fat (if need be) 1 (10 oz.) jar red jalapeño jelly 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 (18 oz) BBQ sauce teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon green hot sauce, Tabasco teaspoon pepper 1.Place beans in a 5 qt. slow cooker; set aside. 2.Cut ribs apart; sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place ribs on a broiler pan. 3.Broil 5 inches from heat 18-20 minutes or until browned, turning once. Add ribs to slow cooker, and sprinkle with onion. 4.Combine jelly, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce in a saucepan; cook over low heat until jelly melts. Pour over ribs, and stir gently. 5.Cover and cook on High 5-6 hours or on Low 9-10 hours. Remove ribs. Drain bean mixture, reserving sauce. (I use a large colander with a bowl underneath to catch the sauce). Arrange ribs over bean mixture; serve with sauce.

20: Bats and Cobwebs | 8 oz bag of bow tie pasta 1lb ground beef 1 28oz jar pasta sauce 8 oz bag of shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Cook pasta, brown hamburger meat and drain. Put the pasta, hamburger meat, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese, pasta sauce in a 2qt greased baking dish. Stir and top with remaining cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes and serve with croissants.

21: 2 cup flour 2 Tablespoons milk 1 Teaspoon baking powder 1 Teaspoon vanilla 1 Teaspoon baking soda 1 cup chopped pecans 1 Teaspoon salt 1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries 1 cup shortening crushed corn flakes 1 cup sugar additional maraschino cherries 2 eggs Blend shortening & sugar; add eggs, milk & vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Blend in pecans & cherries. Drop balls into crushed flakes & top with cherry half. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 375 degrees. | Honey and Cracker | Happy Holidays
