2: Input | Input receives (accepts) information (data) and makes it available to the computer. | USB flash and or thumb drive
3: Computer Mouse | Microphone
4: Process | Process happens in the central processing unit (CPU). The CPU is where the computer does its work, where the processing takes place. On the microcomputer the CPU is on one chip.
5: Control Unit Sends the data to the memory unit or the arithmetic logic unit. It may be compared to a "traffic cop controlling the flow of traffic.
6: Memory | Memory is where data is stored unit needed. | CD and or DVD.
7: Hard drive or Hard disk. | Flash Drive/ USB device
8: Output | Output is the job (and a device) that gives data back in a usable form. | Headphones and or speakers
9: Printer | Monitor or screen
