4: output | output is the job ( and a device) that gives data back in a usable form. the "O" of I/O (input/output)

6: processing | process happens in the central processing unit (CPU). the CPU is where the computer does its work, where the processing takes its place. On a microcomputer the CPU is on one single chip.
