4: Summary This book is about two kids who started to go visit there grandma again since they haven't gone since they were young kids. When they first started going back they didn't like it much, there was always drama or something crazy going on at old grandmas house. Once the kids started growing up them and their grandma grew closer and they started having more and more fun, shooting at people, hearing grandmas favorite stories, seeing dead bodies, and flying. Toward the end of the book Joey realized he hadst fulfilled his dream of flying an airplane daily. So he packed his backs and got on a train headed to the army base. He then realized the train was going through his grandmothers town, so he sent her a telegraph, because she didn't have a telephone, telling her about his passing through town. Then as the train approached her town, joey, unable to sleep because of the noisy train sat in his seat waiting.

5: As the train passed through her town grandma who could block half the town with one leg stepped outside waving at the train not knowing which car Joey was in. Joey waved back but grandma never seen it. Theory The theory of the story could be taken in different ways, but i think the theory is that when kids are raised to believe i their dreams they will one day come true. Also the main point of the book is to make people laugh.

6: Main characters 1.Joey Dowel- Point of view wich the story was told from, Hr realized when he flew a plane that he wanted to do that for the rest of his life. So he joined the army

8: Conflicts & Resolutions 1. At first the kids were not looking forward to taking a trip, and didn't much like going to grandmas. As time passes and the children grew up grandma didn't seem so bad after all. 2.Effie Wilcox was telling towns people and news reporters that shotgun cheatham , grandmas son, got his name from being a bad shot and almost shooting people and grandma didn't like it. So grandma told the reporter than her son died at war and he got his name from his gun skills.
