2: A is for AFL AFL is a game involving a ball and some players in a battle to win a game. It is only played in Australia.

3: B is for billabong A billabong is a pond that's separated from a main stream usually found in a curved shape.

4: C is for Cricket Cricket is a sport that is very popular in Australia, you use a bat and a hard ball. Australia is the best!

5: D is for dingo A dingo is a type of dog that can be found in the desert or bush. They can be dangerous.

6: E is for emu An emu is Australia bird. It is greyish brown, has long legs, it cannot fly and it lives in grassland.

7: F is for footy Footy is a ball game played in Australia where the aim is to kick the ball between the two middle posts to get a goal.

8: G is for Gold One day people were digging in a mine and they found gold.

9: H is for Hugh Jackman Hugh Jackman is a well-known Australian actor whose most famous role is Woverine, from the X-Men movies.

10: I is for island Australia is the largest island in the world.

11: J is for Joey A joey is a young kangaroo. It's a small Australian marsupial.

12: K is for koala A koala is a fuzzy marsupial that sleeps all day, eats gum leaves and only exists in Australia.

13: L is for Luna Park Luna Park is a popular fun park in Melbourne. Luna Park is in St. Kilda near the sea.

14: M is for Melbourne Cup Day. Melbourne Cup Day is a famous Australian event where horses race against each other.

15: N is for Ned Kelly Ned Kelly is a famous bush ranger who came to a gruesome death.He was infamous for his crimes and handmade headgear.

16: O Sydney Opera house, is a famous place visited by lots of people.

17: P is for possums . We get lots of possums in Australia . They are nocturnal.

18: Q is for QANTAS QANTAS is an Australian airline that flies from parts of Australia to all over the world.

19: R is for Gold Rush Australia had a gold rush in the 1800s. Someone found gold and there was lots of it.

20: S is for Supercar Racing. Supercar Racing is a sport that you race around in V8 cars and the fastest Supercar wins! You race around a track, it is very popular in Australia.

21: T is for Tasmanian Devil A Tasmanian Devil is an Australian animal and is very dangerous.

22: U is for Uluru It is a big rock owned by the Aborigines that they gather at. It is very popular with tourists.

23: V is for Vegemite Vegemite is an Australian spread that you spread on bread or toast. It has a bitter taste to it. Foreigners usually hate it!

24: W is for wombat A wombat is an Australian animal that can be brown, grey or black.

25: X is for eXtreme Australia is full of extreme things like the Big Banana, Uluru, poisonous snakes, dangerous deserts, extreme sports like surfing and heaps more.

26: Y is for yards Australians are known for having very big yards. Aussies love to have bar-be-cues in their backyards.

27: Z is for zoo The zoo is a great place to see many different animals. Australia Zoo is the most famous and most popular zoo. It was the zoo that Steve Irwin owned.
